Review: I just received this pot so cannot comment on durability, but I've used it three times (1)making tofu (2) blanching vegetables (3) making vegetable broth. What I've found so far is that it heats evenly and quickly, Cleaning was a breeze. In response to those who complained about white spots remaining after washing, or a blue haze: this is a natural phenomenon common to all stainless steel pots. It is a function of the hardness of the water (mineral content) and the detergent used. It's easy to correct. After washing and rinsing, pour a small amount of white vinegar into the pot, add an equal amount of water. Let sit for an hour (depending on the hardness of your water more time may be needed). Use a soft scrubee or brush, rinse with plain tap water, and white spots will be gone.
