Husband loves this bookAnd can’t put it down!

First, this is the exact same book as the one with the black cover titled “Play On - The New science of elite performance at any age”. That being said, this is a great book about what’s going on in the world of science to keep elite athletes going well beyond the previous “prime”. However I was hoping for more of how to apply the knowledge to us everyday athletes. There is info in the epilogue but I would like a little more detailed information about how to better use and apply the information in my own quest for amateur performance at any age.

Not a lot of actionable advice.

So disappointing. I bought it online so didn’t realize until I received it that there isn’t even a Sources section at the end. The author doesn’t cite much bonafide research at all. And as an earlier reviewer noted, very little is covered about women.
