Peach Couture Elegant Reversible Paisley Pashmina Shawl Wrap

The photo is kind of not very specific. But the item's about what I expected from the other reviews-- a bit darker, the reverse is kind of dark and indistinct, but it's definitely got some silk content, it's soft, substantial, and quite attractive. I'm very happy with my purchase. I didn't want it for a super-formal occasion, more something to wear to my customer service job, attractive and perhaps comment-worthy but not so expensive or exquisite as to be out of place or heartbreaking if it were damaged by the photo chemicals I work with or snagged when I'm doing heavy lifting. (I work in a photo lab/camera store, so I don't just sit at a desk and look pretty all day, but I like to look interesting at least.)I'm very happy and would recommend it. For ten bucks plus shipping, it's not a bad deal at all-- a pretty, utilitarian bit of decorative practicality (I'm busty so a nice scarf goes a long way to fill in a neckline that was waaaay more conservative on the mannequin). I'll probably buy one for each of my three sisters and a couple of my close girlfriends-- it's a nice sorta no-particular-occasion feel-pretty gift.

This is pretty but it's not very true to the colors shown on the comp. I was disapointed. They are muttled and dull. But it is still a pretty material and it is soft. I also don't like the 'Pashmina' logo 'sticker' on the bottom towards the fringes. I think it is meant to look like a stitched logo but it's a sticky piece of fabric or......something with 'Pashmina' on it. And if this runs across your face while you throw your scarf around your neck it scratches a little. I haven't washed it yet, maybe it will come off in the wash and be softer, or maybe it will be sticky....who knows. These are just some little tid bits of info. I use my scarf any way and bought one for my mom. Mine is blue and I got it off of Amazon for $5.50 I think it was worth the money. This one maybe not so much.

Just as I expected. The colors exactly matched what is shown on-line. The length wraps twice around my neck and tucks neatly into my coat. The weight is perfect for winter in Pittsburgh. In really bad weather, I drape it over my head and wrap the ends around my neck and that works too. My only minor complaint is that the fabric is a little bit scratchy; not enough to be annoying but just kinda "there". As for the reviews that complain about the big tag stuck to it, after the first hand washing the tag became loose and I peeled it right off. I bet if you ran an iron over it, it would soften the glue and come off that way, too. And the tag is not very big--maybe 3/4" by 2".

This wrap was such a surprise- absolutely beautiful & quite a value at this price! What I LIKE about this shawl: truly long enough to use as a shawl (some companies advertise 'shawl/scarf' when they are not quite adequate in size for a shawl). Very soft but still a smooth dressy finish, pretty coloring. What I don't like: not very much except that all their colors are not be as bright as they appear in the pictures, and the contrast in the colors of the pattern aren't as vivid. It will look darker overall than the photo. Also, they say they are reversible but not really. Its more like the backside color is a pretty complimentary coloring for when the shawl bunches or the backside shows. However, I still say this in summary: a very pretty shawl and an absolutely incredible value!!! (You'd be wise to snatch up a couple for gifts while they are available at the current price...)

I bought this scarf because of the color it was in the photo, though I was a bit nervous about the name including "Pink"... I am *thrilled* with the scarf. It looks exactly like the photograph (I would call it more of a claret or brownish reddish, or a cinnamon type color -- basically exactly like the photograph). I have had a jacket for a couple years that is the same color, and it didn't match any accessories or scarves I had (or could find!). Finally I saw this one on Amazon, and it was a perfect match. The label is a bit large and annoying, so I took it off easily. The fabric is pretty lightweight, and the scarf style is wider (some could wear it as a non-triangle shawl if you are into that style). It drapes well and can be used in many different styles of tying. I love it, and I've gotten many compliments in the short time I've had it!

I bought this color and the pink color in August to wear with a black dress to a wedding in case my shoulders became a bit chlled in the a/c. Indeed, it is colorful and beautiful but the colors were not as vibrant as I had hoped, especially for the pink one. In fact, I returned the pink one because I really wanted something way more dramatic...fuschia...is probably more of what I had hoped for I guess. The pink color was too muted for my taste. Still, it had been a very long time since I had worn a shawl and I felt very feminine while I was adjusting it and tossing it around.

I ordered 7 of these shawls in different colors and all are going back at my expense. The picture is just not accurate as to the quality of the weaving. If I had been able to zoom in or there had been a close up photograph, I would not have ordered these. The fabric is a very loose, coarse type of yard and weaving. Think of gauze but heavier. Anyway, I am terribly disappointed in all the colors but primarily in the quality the fabric. The tassels are thin and it just looks awfully cheap !!! So I got what I paid for: NOT MUCH ! It is just not nice enough to give for Christmas or birthday. My advice is to spend a bit more, maybe 10 to 20 dollars and get a really nice shawl that looks expensive. This doesn't even come close, in my opinion. I'd say it's dollar store quality or worse.Update: It will take some effort to make a return. This seller requires an RA #. However on the toll free number on ALL extensions, you will get a recording to leave your name and number for a call back ! You only have 7 days to return an order...I sent an e mail and then had to pay for a long distance call to get the return authorization number. I won't order from them again no matter the product. Sellers who do not make it hassle free to make a return don't get my business.
