Baader Planetarium 2" / 1.25" Clicklock Reducer

I've used this for long viewing times in several sessions that have mostly focused on checking out the optics of a new scope, and the eyepieces I've evaluated in it. Once you get used to it, it is quite addictive that a small twist one way lets you load a very expensive eyepiece, a small twist the other way lets you very easily remove it, and in between, no one can extract it.It isn't a knock on the adapter, but not all 2" focuses can hold it so tightly that it won't rotate slightly each time it is used. Some eyepiece owners are obsessed with avoiding any scratches to the barrel of an EP. To them I say, "Carry on: your EP is safe and secure".

An expensive but very convenient way to use 1.25" eyepieces and cameras in a 2" diagonal. Superb engineering and a 'snap/click' to use.

This is a replacement for another manufactures. This thing is well made and attached equipment is solid and secure. I couldn't be happier. I will simply throw away the old one....which is no longer sold! I bought both 1.25 and 2" adapter.

A must have for the ClickLock system. Eyepieces are much more secure using this system.

Protect you lens.. Locks lens into place without the worry of them falling out while telescope is moving.
