This is a good lock set for the price. I was able to reverse the handles. The side with the keyed lock was harder to do. You had to fiddle with the lock some, and you had to use a rubber softened persuasion tool.They is a little lever on the shaft of the handle that must be pressed in. The set comes with a tool to do this, but a flat head screw driver works as well.Once I got everything properly lined up and set, this lock set works smoothly. I was replacing an old lock set that was probably cheaper than this one, and it was 14 years old. When the door was pushed shut, most times the latch would not catch. this would close the door partially and then allow it to come open later. I tried every adjustment possible to fix the problem. We just started keeping the dead bolt locked to make sure the door did not come open later. Then the dead bolt started sticking. Again I made adjustments, cleaned and oiled the internals. Nothing worked.This new set was cheap, and fixed all the issues. Now my kids can just push the door closed on their way in or out, and it stays shut. I consider this lock set as going green. I expect it to save me 10% on heating and cooling bills, by keeping the door closed.I am probably going to order this set for my other door. It does not really need to be replaced, but it is the old brass look, and this satin nickel is much more modern. It works so well, and the price is so good, why not.

Looks great and works great! The dead bolt was very easy to install. The door knob was a little harder to install as you have to try to keep it turned while screwing it together. But I still did 2 doors in very little time. They were reasonably priced but really look good and they feel like good quality too.

Handle looks very nice and fits in nice and securely. When we installed it, we noticed the pin that fits into the handle lock is not adjustable. We were able to adjust and fit the pin into the deadbolt so that it is sideways when it is locked, but the handle is not the same. When the handle is locked, the "button/knob" is up and down rather than horizontal. Not a huge issue, just OCD-bothersome that the locking mechanisms don't face the same directions when locked/unlocked. Could be an operator error too, but we figured out the deadbolt fairly easily and spent a long time trying to decide if we could change the direction of the handle lock, with no luck. If the direction of the locking mechanisms from the inside isn't an issue to you, I would recommend this handle. It has a nice look to it and seems secure so far.

I purchased the Leverset a year ago and I've been very happy with it. It looks stylish and works well. Then a week ago a part inside the deadbolt broke off and the deadbolt will not turn anymore. Legend has a lifetime warranty so I called the number that was listed on the product description on Amazon. An actual person picked up right away. I explained my problem and with no questions, he promptly told me that a replacement will be shipped. I told him it's only the deadbolt but he said he will replace the entire set. Sure enough, 2 days later, I received a complete replacement. I never had such GREAT customer service. Legend product deserves 5 stars but their service deserves 6 stars!

Avoid this lock set. I replaced all interior Passage & Privacy knobs in my home with this Legend brand; all were of very good quality. However, both the Dead Bolt & keyed (alike) Lever Knob in this combo set were of inferior quality, harder to install, and had manufacturing defects in the Deadbolt. To credit Amazon, the first combo keyed set were promptly replaced with expedited shipping at no charge. However the replacement also had a defective Dead Bolt: (1st order) the Dead Bolt had improperly machined material, not allowing one of the long machine screws to seat properly, thus the interior side lever would not turn due to obstruction of protruding machine screw. (2nd replacement order) strangely, the Dead Bolt would not allow the bolt to slide into lock position without key in the cylinder; thus, could not lock the Dead Bolt from the interior side unless key was inserted into cylinder on exterior side -- a useless situation. (Both 1st & 2nd orders) the Lever handle design makes for very difficult assembly, lever does not remove to allow for ease of screw inserted into holes as necessary to install set into door. Also, the lever is not the same quality materials as those used on aforementioned Legend brand Passage & Privacy doors. BTW, others complain that this combo keyed set is very difficult to re-key in the normal Kwikset manner, as might be expected. I suspect these are manufactured by an alternate Chinese company than the interior Passage & Privacy Legend brand Wave Style sets. Amazon has been superb in arranging return and refund for these items, with no-charge return shipping -- am awaiting purchase credit. My prior review & recommendation of Legend brand Passage & Privacy sets remains valid.

I got this delivered and had it installed in half an hour. Like the look, feels solid, the screws did not strip or cross-thread. I have no talent for DIY and I'm very pleased with how everything was straightforward and worked the first time. Have had it for only a couple of days, but it turns easily and doesn't fight the key. So far, excellent.

Very affordable but you can feel the difference between a very sturdy lock and this one. A little on the cheap side but it works for my applicationUPDATE one year later, I had to replace these, the keys fail to even enter the tumbler, let alone unlock it. I found myself on the verge of being locked out so I had to buy another set. The deadbolt key quit working about 6 months ago, the door handle died about one year after purchase. I recommend against buying this.
