Provides me with extra energy during workouts and works well. Tastes good and is not too sweet. Much better than the GNC product which was very sweet and tasted bad.

I was looking for an improvement over others I've tried. I liked this better than Gu Brew or the other two I tried (can't remember the name right now) I would say Hammer Heed is a little better than Cytomax imo. Neither Cytomax or Heed left that nasty film in my mouth, but Heed was very light in flavor and texture and no stomach problems at allI thought this size container would last longer. I went through it pretty fast

Reading reviews on energy drinks probably won't help. You have to try them yourself and not just sipping for taste -- try it during actual long training sessions. The reason I like this over Gatorade in particular, is that I don't get the "sugar rush" feeling that Gatorade gives, but it still handles the hydration and calorie needs (at least for short events).If you're planning on a long event, you'll need to eat, too. This won't be enough alone.

This stuff is awesome. I'm not exactly a sports scientist, but you can literally feel your body process this stuff shortly after consumption to curb dehydration. This is definitively the best hydration product I have used to-date. It's like Gatorade on steroids.

When I purchased this bottle of Cytomax Cool Citrus, I made the mistake of not checking its weight. This bottle of Cytomax weighs 1.5 pounds and costs $19.99. Over the past two years, I have purchased two 4.5 pound bottles of this same product for $21.03 and $21.95. Currently, there are 4.5 pound bottles of Cytomax Tropical Fruit that costs $24.99. So I decided to return the 1.5 pound bottle and get the 4.5 pound bottle of Tropical Fruit. Surprise, the 1.5 pound bottle is NOT ELIGIBLE FOR RETURN. So Amazon is not allowing me to self correct my mistake of purchasing some SUPER EXPENSIVE Cytomax by returning this small bottle, and purchasing a reasonably priced 4.5 pound bottle. I hope Amazon has a good reason for not allow the return of the small bottle. Doesn’t seem right to me.

I'm using Cytomax as part of my training plan for the L.A. Marathon and have found it to be very helpful. It does what it advertises, which is provide me with sustained energy by using the complex carbohydrate maltodextrin instead of sugar. It also provides all the electrolytes needed to keep my muscles from cramping and pulling during long runs. I have had issues with pulled calf muscles in the past, and since I started using this, I haven't had these type of problems. I highly recommend its use!

Great Stuff but is a little sweet when mixed to the portions recommended. Mix at about 1/2 the ratio, I tolerate it well in the heat. The new sweetener that is used tastes a little funny. When mixed it does not store well(overnight) so you will need to mix and use right away.

Loving this product! I drink it during my long runs (9+ miles) for marathon training. I love the even energy and the flavor is good. Mixing it can be a little tricky, sometimes there are clumps at the bottom even after using a whisk to try and prevent that from happening. Once mixed, it is fine though - doesn't separate out or get fizzy.
