Review: Great Pad and Excellent Results! - I exclusively use Meguiar's products to detail and maintain finishes. This pad lives up to the name. The velcro is very strong, easy to line up on the backing plate, and I had no issues of the velcro separating from the pad. This was a replacement, I got to close to an emblem on the trunk and chewed up the edge of the prior one. User error, not the pad fault. I have used this one once, cleaned it and it seems as good as new. I'll update if I have any durability issues. I used this pad with a Porter Cable DA and Meguiar's Ultimate Polish. That combo had just the right amount of cutting power to really bring out the clarity and depth of my black car. I will continue using these. Much better results with these than the Hex Logic alternatives.

**Q: Does finishing pad mean wax? I bought the polish pad. I need one for wax. Personal use.**
A: I've used finishing pads for waxing with no problems

**Q: Can be use with m205 polishing ultra.  because normally the pads are white or green (i used lake country) but. the white says compound cuttting, help**
A: This should work good with m205

**Q: Do you use the pad directly on the paint of a car, or can it be covered with a terry cloth or other bonnet?**
A: The pads are designed to use directly on the paint for applying and removing wax and polish. After buffing with the pad I will wipe lightly with a micro fiber cloth.  I never needed to use terry cloth or other bonnet although I think they are available.

**Q: Why is there no microfiber pad for polishing?**
A: The Power pack comes as a kit with the microfiber and so forth... but this is simply the pad sold by itself.

I exclusively use Meguiar's products to detail and maintain finishes. This pad lives up to the name.
