Once activated, it gets hot and it stays hot for at least half an hour
I love this product above all others similar to it. It heats well and quickly. The larger pieces hold their heat for about an hour. The smaller ones don’t last long but they are great while I wait for my used ones to boil and reset. I have used it for years to relieve back pain, neck pain, knee pain, and just to relax or to warm the sheets before crawling into a cold bed. The only con is that with repeated use over time, they will spring a leak. It is not a problem if it gets on anything you can wash, but if it gets on your couch, mattress or pillow, the spot will feel stiff unless you can wash it enough with a wet cloth. It also leaves a blue color, that will come out in the wash if you can put it in there, but that’s not always possible. So it’s best to lay down a waterproof mat first, like a baby’s lap pad or cloth changing pad. Despite the possibility of leakage after it gets old, I still buy replacements. There is nothing that can match it for the job it does.

Nice quality and heat up quick!
These warming gel packs are sent right from heaven. I purchased just the shoulder pack first and between myself, my daughter, and my hubby it was always in use. I decided to get this larger kit so that we all has a pack in case we needed it. I am not sure what it is about that tiny piece of metal inside the gel but all you do is click it and within a few minutes the pack is nice and warm. My daughter loves the longer one for cramps and back aches. There are also 2 small circle packs and 2 small square ones. These work well when my husband has a migraine we place them right on his eye sockets and it helps the pain and soothes him enough to get comfortable. These have been used quite a bit in my household so I can say they do help with discomfort. I love that they are reusable just by boiling them. If you experience body aches I suggest giving these a try. They have worked very well for my family!

May not last very long - one will not completely silitify after about 5 uses
After about 5 uses, the rectangular blue one does not completely silicify

very effective
Worked really well. Comfortable but a little heavy (probably better to keep the heat directed to affected area). Did not use the cold application.

Busted after second use!
What I liked: 1. Heated up very hot. 2. The $40 price compared with a set at the fair for $130. 3. Heats up without the use of electricity. 4. Great for on-the-go. What I disliked: 1. Discs were really hard to snap in order to activate making it hard for those of us with joint and/or strength issues. 2. You have to boil the packs in order to deactivate. Which cancels out the need for electricity or gas to heat them. 3. Busted open in the pot the second time I used them. 4. They lose heat in about 20-30 minutes. Then it’s just warm. 5. The $40 price for something that broke so quickly.

Just ok if you need the whole set
The large rectangular pack in this set works incredibly well. It held heat for more than 30 minutes before slowly cooling down from there. Much better than what I'd expected. The smaller packs, on the other hand, were very disappointing. I had expected them to cool down much quicker than the large pack, but the problem was that they didn't ever get hot. They became lukewarm at best. I tried clicking the disk again and pushing the liquid around to see if that would help. No change in the temperature. It still did definitely mix (i.e. the disk did work), there just wasn't enough chemical in there to create the reaction needed to produce enough heat. For that reason, all of the small packs are going to be completely useless. Following suggestions, I put a washcloth in the bottom of the pot, ensuring the pack never had direct contact with the sides of the pot when reheating them to return them to their liquid state. I also used a large plastic spoon to lift them out, rather than our metal tongs. Didn't experience any problems with this process, and the packs are back to being read to use. I should note that I have not yet tried the large neck pack, but I expect it should perform at least as well as the large rectangular pack. For that reason, I am giving this set 3 stars; half of it works well, the rest is a waste. I'd suggest just purchasing the large pack, if that's what you're needing. If you're looking for smaller packs for handwarmers, invest in a rechargeable warmer, purchase disposables, or search elsewhere; these will leave you disappointed and cold.

Buy these if you ever need heat
Saw a similar product at a boat show where they were selling this set for $300. Happy I found these on Amazon at a much better price. They work very well and are completely reusable. My always has cold hands and these fix that quickly, plus the larger packs allow her to get relief from sore muscles. EXCELLENT Product!

Portable, lightweight, no electricity need hot/cold pads
This CLIK CLAK hot/cold heating pads, despite of some bad reviews and complains, in my opinion they are great, if you want to use them on the go. This set of pad is portable, I have another one like this and that is why I bought the bigger set with a pad almost for every single part of the body. These I bought for my aunt. So that way she can put them inside of her purse and take to work. They are easy to use just clik and go, ready in a few seconds. She loves how convenient and easy to use are, no need for electric cords or batteries, to use, she takes two, even though she has to boil the pads for 15 to 20 minutes, she love the. Below are the instructions on how to reuse pads: Wrap the heat pad in a cloth (to prevent it from melting). Boil a pot of water large enough for the pad. Boil the heat pack in the water for approx 20 min. (until all crystals are liquid). Remove the pad from the water and allow it to cool. The pad is now ready for use. Specifications: One heat pad Shoulder, Back and 4 small Heat Packs Heats up to 130°F / 53°C Retains heat up to 1 hours Overall great portable, lightweight set of heat or cold pads, highly recommended.

Well made. Works as should and as described. Keeps heat for around 10 mins and starts to cool down. But it take a long time to cool right off. The heat is better then expected. It’s right on the edge of ouch. But not quite.
