Best bridle out there!!
I can't recommend this bridle enough. I switched to bitless riding because I care about my horse, and personally I would not like to have a metal bar in my mouth for hours on end, so why would my horse?! So when I first went bitless I bought a used side pull bridle on Craigslist to try it out first, before investing in one. After trying it out my horse was just as responsive as using a snaffle, and she got VERY soft.(FYI - Do not get the bitless bridles that crisscross and squeeze, or tighten, around the horses nose!) My only issue with the Craigslist bridle was that it had a stiff "rope" nose band that never seemed to fit well. It stuck out on the sides and it was so rough on her nose that I had to wrap fabric around it to protect her nose. I did a lot of research when I decided to buy a new, good one, and this Justin Dunn side pull was what I decided upon after much research. Not only does it have the spread out leather straps which keep it from spinning around my horse's face, and gives gentle contact, but it also has a nice soft rope nose band. It's perfect!! It's soft, doesn't rub her nose, doesn't slip around, it's large and very adjustable, and she is responsive like she's never been before. My horse has some draft in her and her head it big, and this bridle fits great. After using it regularly I can laterally flex her with just a slight movement with my fingertips. She loves this bridle, as do I, and I can't recommend it enough. Also, the silver pieces are beautiful, and although they are not sterling, they look just like sterling silver pieces. Solid and beautiful, not plated junk. Very well made with high quality materials, not cheap at all. Well worth every penny, and personally I would spend a lot more on it. I LOVE IT!!!

Wonderful bridle!
I was riding my mare in a Little S Hackamore and wanted to go totally bitless, and away from mechanical hacks. I bought this and was instantly impressed. It beautiful and very well made. It looks great on my horse and since I bought mine, two of my friends also bought one! These look great on every horse I’ve seen them on and they work great too. I love this and it’s a great bargain for the price, as I know it’s a lifetime bridle..

Awesome leather and perfect design.
This bitless bridle is perfect for those that constantly chomp or lean against the bit. As long as you size it and keep the nose band just above the soft tissue the buckles do not impede the eye. The knots on the nose band send the right signal and the soft rope doesn’t scar up the nose in humid environments. Definitely high quality leather and works great with a set of macate reigns.

Buckles and Eyes
I was so excited when I found this side pull. I worry about a rope side pull coming untied and thought this would be the perfect hybrid. And it would be perfect if it had one more strap under the jaw to hold it in place. It is well made and seemed to be agood quality Weaver product. Unfortunately when I put it on my horse and adjusted it, the buckles ended up directly parallel to his eyes. If it slipped at all the buckles would end up in his eye. See photos. Seems like a great design except for that issue so I returned it. Sadly.

AMAZING QUALITY
This bitless bridle is the best. Fits my horse perfect. Went on 8 mile ride today and she did amazing with it. Update used several times, great fit, many compliments. Update, been using for couple of years now on trails and parades. I just purchased a second bridle as a gift to my daughter for her gaited horse. Awesome setup.

Perfect headstall to start a young horse in!
I saw this being used by Justin Dunn at the 2016 Rocky Mountain Horse Expo in Denver, and thought I should get one for my horses. The other sidepulls that I've tried in the past have a really rigid, stiff rawhide nosepiece, which can rub some noses a bit raw. I liked that this headstall has the ability to change out the softer rope nosepieces (but at $20 per nose rope, I don't think I'll be looking to do that anytime soon!). I've been using this headstall as a step up from using a rope halter, in the process of starting some of my young, Rocky Mountain horses under saddle. This headstall fits nicely, and has enough leather to allow for a good range in head sizes. I really like the leather attachments from the cheek pieces to the area that holds the rope noseband in place. I haven't had any issues with the cheek pieces moving into the eye area, which can be a problem in some headstalls. Overall, this was a splurge for me, at over $100 for just the headstall (with leather curb strap and rope nosepiece included). Thank goodness I have lots of reins at home! I think this would be a great headstall to use for the NATRC and endurance rides, as it would allow the horse to graze and water without a bit in their mouth, although your horse needs to really be taught to be light off the pressure of the headstall--a really flightly horse might not be able to be stopped in a headstall like this in a panic situation. Again, nice construction, but a bit pricey.

Great Bridle; can easily fix the buckle close to eye problem easy.
So far it works great he's almost too big for the horse size. But in all fairness he is half draft horse. so I just bought a leather strap of the same color to get it to fit a little better. And to get the buckle away from his eye better. He responds to it get I love how light of hand I can be with him. And now when trail riding when we take breaks he can freely eat grass while relaxing along with other treats that would be harder for him too eat with his bit. I highly recommend this bridle for people to get.

Buckles and Not adjustable
The bridle is well made with quality leather however the buckles are MASSIVE and they sit really close to the eye. The bridle was not secure and every time I picked up the reins it would move into my horses eye. I couldn’t adjust it differently. The buckles just naturally fall very close to the eye. I feel like a jowl strap may help the movement problem.
