AMAZING
This stuff is no joke. Hazardous, yes, but I was pleasantly surprised. It took a bottle and a half but it took out the stains from hard water in my bathtub. You know those little anti slip ovals they put in the tubs. They are unbelievable hard to clean. No prob now! Be sure to ventilate the area you use it in. I spray in on the tub and close the door for a couple of hours. I don't scrub it, can't get that close to the odor. I just rinse it away and apply again another day.

OPEN A DOOR AND WEAR A MASK
I love this product to clean the shower and toilet. It does a marvellous job, BUT, you must open a door to the outside, if you have one and close the door to the rest of the house and WEAR a mask....the odor is overwhelming and I am sure that it is NOT healthy for you to breathe in the fumes. If you have birds, like I do, protect them from the odor as they will die, if you don't.....as I have said, it does a wonderful job erasing all iron stains, as I have and the shower looks brand new when I have finished cleaning. I am lucky and have a hose just outside the bathroom room and bring it in to rinse of the residue....it works. But, be careful!

WORKS ALL THE WAY ALL THE TIME
Can’t say enough about this product! Normally I don’t acquire a lot of rust stains EXCEPT when temps drop below freezing and we have to leave faucets dripping all night to protect the pipes. This is AMAZING. A QUICK SPRAY AND FIVE MIN LATER RUST IS GONE WITHOUT SCRUBBING OR TOUCHING IT. This is a gel spray or stream and clings for a bit to get to work. PICS A A SMALL EXAMPLE BC ONLY SHOW ONE NIGHT RUST BUILD UP. Trust me if we have several cold days in a row I wait until it’s over before using it. There are days it’s SO orange and nasty so it may take one follow up spray but same result-gone in five. I’ve seen people buy new tubs bc they can’t get rust out-this would’ve saved them hundreds and a lot of time. LOVE IT. Pic are before and 5 min after.

Amazing product really works
This is an amazing product. We had such a problem with our toilets because we are on well water. Toilet in our bathroom was so bad I thought of replacing it . Used the tablets then the spray. It totally cleaned out the toilet basin. Now looks back to normal. Also sprayed around the edge & it cleaned those rust stains. Totally recommend this product. My daughter used it in her shower at her house and it really worked.

Way better than the powdered form
I love this stuff for my hard water stains in the shower and tub. I spray it on and let it sit and all the rust is gone like that. I just wish I could get it at my local store. The powdered form which is readily available does not work on my tub or shower and takes way more elbow grease than I wish to use

It does work against hard stains
We have well water and a water softener, but our water softener was on the fritz and as a result our shower walls and floor turned orange. I had tried several products, but had very limited results. I decided to try Iron Out, based on the reviews, and now I finally have a white shower again! The product description states it is a gel that clings, but that is not the case. It seems like a regular spray with a watery consistency. You still have to scrub pretty hard after spraying it on. I would never describe it as just spray on and then wipe off. You need to apply some elbow grease to remove the stains. I would suggest working on a small section at a time and make sure to open a window for ventilation. It does have a somewhat strong smell, but I didn’t think it was as bad as some reviewers have posted. Bottom line....it works against hard water rust stains, so I will purchase again when I run out.

This item was listed as a gel. It's pretty thin and sprays more like a liquid. I applied it to my tub that has a few rust spots showing. It diminished the appearance of the rust, but did not remove the rust completely. I did apply it 3 times. I would advise keeping a fan on while applying the solution and wear rubber gloves and a face mask.
