Very few places sell the puree in jars and when Sainsbury's stopped selling theirs, I was gutted. This stuff lasts 3 days (a sign of a lack of processing!) and could be frozen in ice cube trays for future use. The price is good and love it!

Really concentrated, you can tell they have used quality tomatoes

Well, I'm using it as a base for pizza, so can't complaint too much. There is a maybe better alternatives, but Biona puree is a good value, and still a very good quality product from a well known brand

It has been impossible to buy any organic tomato puree from any supermarket during the last few years. I have no idea why, perhaps there is a master race eating the best and throwing us their crumbs! This is a good moist puree, not too bitter, and a good consistency for adding during cooking. Hopefully the price will not increase, costs seem arbitrary since Coronavirus. Update 16/1/24; I still buy this puree and it remains the best in my opinion, but one jar of my last order of two was damaged and the lid could be depressed. I opened the jar and would still have eaten it, but it looked all messy as if it may have been spooned in or out of the jar, so I will have to discard it and lose the money because I do not have a printer or a mobile phone to arrange the label or QR code.

Bought this when I couldn’t get my normal organic one anymore😞 Very pleased and have bought again. Used to buy tomato purée in tubes, many years ago and wasted more than I used, always went off or could get out all the product😬 So much better in glass jars. With this one, I decant any spare Into small pots and freeze. Don’t waste a thing🥰 I use a lot of Biona products and will continue to do so. Highly recommend.

We use this all the time for pizza topping. Best taste. Seems to go mouldy easier than the stuff in a tube but it had a far better flavour.

I never feel ill after eating Biona food. I am so appreciative that they supply such good clean food to the public. The tomato puree is another beautiful tasting product. It's thick and i use it on home made pizza, add to soup. It also makes lovely tomato soup. Highly recommend.
