Review: Excellent waterproof USB-C compatable M.2 case. - I absolutely love this case! Quality is outstanding, feels very durable. Excellent waterproof seal and design makes me not worry about water entry. Cable length is perfect for hooking up to computer for backups. Instalation of the M.2 device is easy. Speeds are good through a USB-4 interface.
Review: Yes it's rugged. Yes it seals. It's a good unit. - I've included a number of pictures so that folks can compare what this unit ACTUALLY is vs what it may be perceived to be. Yes it's rugged. The entire outsideis silicon with the exception of the heat sink side . The silicone seals the unit between the heatsink and internal plastic case (so no need for extra gaskets). It will be waterproof to some degree but I don't know if there's a rating. Nice touches: all of the screws are the same hex head, so one tool can do everything. Fixed cable. Relatively compact. Potential cons: plastic internal case, though I don't know how much this matters. Fixed cable. Not tool free, so not great for hot swapping. You must use heat sink tape (included) to bridge the gap between your NVME and the heatsink part. If you do not do this, you will have heat issues. Speed is normal for USB 3+ Overall: a good little rugged unit. Follow the install instructions and you shouldn't have any issues.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I like and still using it
*by C***X on October 10, 2025*

I've own this for a while now, installed 1TB WD NVMe drive, and it works great. I use an adapter to use on my old MacBook Pro that only has USB, and it has been reliable. With that said, I can't really speak to the speed, as I'm using an adapter which essentially downgrades the true speed. But, it's easy to install, and as long as you have the right adapter, the compatibility to MacOS High Sierra is fine. The caveat here is that I wanted a case that could take punishment of the natural world. But, I have not put the case through its paces of vigorous testing for how good it would hold up to water or shock damage. While I have a number of back ups, I still can't test against water or shock without the risk of damaging the device. But, the design seems well built and would hold up to certain accidental damages.
