I am 44 years old. This product (ALONE) resolved my hormonal issues & excessive mid-cycle bleeding issues, as well as correct hormone-related headaches/foggy head issues that Oral Contraceptive pills couldn't. STOP TAKING ANY ORAL CONTRACEPTIVES OR RX HORMONE PILLS BEFORE YOU START THIS PILL!!!!!!!. . . BOTTLE says to take 2pills/day, I take only 1/day when I first wake up on an empty stomach. My N.D. (Naturopathic Dr) says to make sure you take 5 days OFF when cycle starts, then repeat. . . . you can always increase after 1 month to 2 pills/day if they aren't working, but I am guessing they will, as my issues were fairly severe & 1/day works for me. The 1 pill/dday resolved all of my issues the very 1st month/cycle. Begin 5 days after cycle begins, continue until cycle starts, take 5 days off, repeat. GREAT PRODUCT FOR WOMEN>

Use: I've been looking for a supplement that increases dopamine sensitivity. Dr. John Gray (author of Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus) recommended Vitex as a useful (and effective way) to re-sensitize the brain to lower levels of dopamine. It arrived yesterday and I immediately took one capsule, of 225mg, then another an hour or so later. Within 20 minutes, the motivation was there. It's not a 'GO-GO' type of motivation, it's more of a, "this needs to be done, so I'll do it now and get it over with" type of motivation. Just what I was looking for. I'm interested to see how vitex improves my life in other areas. Likes: Pure Encapsulations has quality products. Sometimes I get detoured by the price (as compared to how much I get), as compared to the price (and how much I get) with other brands. But the quality is definitely there.
