Deco Step Style Oil Rubbed Bronze 1 Gang Blank Wall Plate

We are revamping our house and wanted to purchase new door knobs/deadlocks using smart keys for the 4 main doors because the deadbolts never worked on the two French Doors. When it came time to add the new Deadbolts, we discovered that the whole in the doors were done incorrectly. Now we know why the deadbolts never worked! You can put them in but they barely turn. After numerous attempts to add a "working" deadbolt, it was determined that we would have to buy new doors if we were going to use our new deadbolts. I was devastated...the doors looked soooo good after the restoration, how could I throw them out now!Solution: I used Blank Wall Plates to cover the deadbolt wholes on either side of the doors. The Blank Plates look like push plates intentionally added to the doors as an accent piece. I am able to keep my pretty doors a little longer.

Come on folks. The short 0.5 inch screws can barely clear the depth/thickness of the plate because of the stair step design style. Your design experts blew it on this one. They should have taken that extra necessary clearance into account and provided two sets of screws that are at least 0.75 and 1.0 inches in length. Now I am the frustrated customer that has to find proper matching screws. Thank you so very much.

Love the way it looks, love the quallity...but why in the world do they put such short screws, we had to replace them, they were way too short

These are great for cable or phone jacks that aren't being used. Gives the room a nice finished look.
