Best Headset you can get for under $30. Maybe even the best under $50
I bought this head set about a week and a half ago. The shipping was very fast- it came about 4 days after initially purchasing it. I was skeptical because a lot of the reviews listed things I did not like very much, and I'd never bought from Plantronics before. I quickly found out that this has been the best headset for any use I've ever owned. Keep in mind, I bought the headset on Amazon for $11.60. After 1 full week of 8+ hours of use per day, here's what I have concluded (I will update if anything major happens):Pros:- Very comfortable. It passed the 6 hour test, with minor strain on the ears around the 8 hour mark (which is a very long time to be constantly wearing a headset.)- The mic quality is AMAZING. Absolutely nothing like any other headset of the same price. I have a friend with a Logitech G430 and another with a Razer Kraken Pro, and they both said that they thought my mic quality was better than theirs. Absolutely astonished at the quality.- The sound quality is great. Not as impressive as the mic quality, but it's quality definitely sounds like those around the price range of $40-$60. The sounds are fairly balanced. The bass has a nice thud to it, but nothing like some other more expensive headphones. Treble and Highs sound great as well.- The plugs are gold-plated which is great because the electricity within the cable to my PC is conducted better.- The headset is directional, which is a definite plus for gaming.- Little to no feedback.- Nice length cord, (for what I use it for)- In-line controls are wondrous, but have one minor flaw.- Build quality is great. It feels like a top-of-the-line headset worth a lot more. It is also pretty flexible, which is always a plus.- The headphones aren't too big and they are very stylish. I love the design of the headset. There's an almost futuristic look to them.CONS- The volume knob on the in-line controls only goes down to about 25% so you can't quickly mute the game/music sound if you need/want to at any given time. My fix for this was simply sliding one of the earcups to the left or right of that ear, or taking the headset off, so it really doesn't matter much anyway. In short, this headset is amazing. I haven't tried some of the other headsets under $50, but I'd wager this is one of the best headsets you can get for the price. It matches the quality of a $50+ headset easily. If you want a headset that has great sound quality, great durability and design, and professional mic quality, then look no further because this headset is all of those things. One of the best purchases I've made this year.

We own five of these...
We own five of these, so that right there should tell you quite a bit about how we feel about this headset. Are you going to get studio quality sound out of these? Of course not - they're meant to be a basic headset/microphone for use with a computer, with an emphasis towards voice quality since the microphone boon implies that these will be used with products like Skype, TeamSpeak, Ventrilo and the like.I think these deliver excellent sound for the price, both incoming through the headphones and outgoing through the mic. Those I chat with say my speech is clear and ungarbled, easy to hear without constant changes in volume. I'm able to hear voices, or music, quite nicely through these.I also will mention - I have very small ears, and finding earbuds or headphones that I can wear comfortably is a HUGE issue for me. These are the only headphones I've found that I can actually wear for several hours without trouble. My husband, who has more normal sized ears, says they are very comfortable for him as well.I really like the boom mic on this headset, too - I like that I can position it as needed, and easily move it out of my way when it's not needed. I've had a few headsets where it felt like the mic boom was somehow "pulling" the headset forward with its weight - something I never understood, I mean, just how heavy does a mic really need to be?? These don't give that sensation at all... they feel very balanced. These do have a fairly tight fit on the head. It's easy enough to stretch them out a bit simply by putting them over the arm of a sofa (or something similar) overnight. As long as you wear them somewhat regularly after that, they'll maintain the stretched sizing. If unused, they will go back to being nearly as tight as they were at time of purchase... that might actually be a bonus to some buyers. It's of course a simple matter to stretch them again if needed. So yes, we like these so much we own five sets. We use them with all of our computers/laptops, and it gives us spares for when a set eventually gives out.We consider these to be an excellent product for the price. We're definitely getting good value out of them.
