Excellent size, drip free - I purchased two bag ~ 1 x non meat items and 1 x meatThe bags are a good replacement instead of using containers or plastic bags.After using the bag, rInse out to remove and food deposits, then wash using a few drops of Milton and warm water instead of washing up liquid, this helps to keep the silicone residue free and prevents strong odours like onions or garlic, from lingering. Dry using ‘lint free’ kitchen tissue immediate after you wash your bag.This item is very versatile, and has so many uses.Was happy with the steamed veg that I cooked. Hoping to use this item to steam cook chicken, for a healthier option.

Too clumsy when closing. A simpler way to close. It's designed to sit flat and open to allow easy filling. I would pay for a foldable stand and clips. Maybe design the stand to allow the cleaned bag to drain on it or something.

Just got into sous vide cooking, but didn't like the idea of cooking food in plastic bags. Got this silicone bag thinking that the air-venting closure would be ideal for sous vide, and wasn't disappointed. This was much bigger than most silicone bags available, and I'm glad I opted for this size. It's big enough for cooking enough meat for a family of four with hungry teen boys. The air-venting closure worked really well for sous vide, but it was helpful to have another set of hands to get all of the air out before putting the clip on to seal it air-tight.The only thing that was a bit confusing was how to get the air-tight clip off the first time. It doesn't slide off sideways (like some other silicone bags), but straight up and away from the bag. It's a bit stiff to get on/off, but I guess that's a good thing to start.I put the bag in the top rack of the dishwasher, and it came out very clean and odor-free after cooking steak in it. Very pleased with it so far.

Well made, solid product that does what it says it does. I'd like to see an easier closing mechanism though. It works well and I recommend it without reservations.

They leak.

perfect for su vide without trashing ziplock bags as well as not eating whatever portion of the ziplock leaches into your food. I usually add 30 minutes to any su vide recipe I am doing to make up for the thicker side walls. if you want to do su vide safe and environmentally responsibly, buy 3-4 of these. the directions are a little hard to understand at first, but take your time, and you'll be rewarded.
