Bought two - Both still working as new.

Arrived quickly, and with no issues. This was just "plug it in and go." My only issue was that there was extraneous crap on the drive that I could not remove, so I only got 3.63TB of storage! Seagate, stop putting extra crap on these drives. I paid for 4TB, I want 4 TB! But it works perfectly. I did a massive data transfer (1.6TB) at midnight and upon waking at 7:30AM it was complete. Ill be buying Seagate devices again.

I love this hard drive. I bought the 4TB in red. Very fast and the way it looks is great as well. I used to buy Toshibas, until I purchased a 2TB that completely deleted all my files in a matter of a few months. I was told Seagate hard drives are real good, that's why I purchased it. I gave Tech Support two stars because I have not contacted Seagate for technical support so I can't give it a 5 star. Overall, very fast hard drive, very nice and durable.

This drive performed flawlessly for just short of five years since purchase, and has just finally died. All my data is backed up to a secondary backup, so no problem with losing anything. Five years is pretty darn good for a mechanical drive, so I'm giving it four stars.

Its only been about 8 wk but its working well so far being connected to my nvidia shield, i dont know how the speeds are but its enough to watch 4k movies via kodi

This product is a good value for the storage space provided. You will need to look at the manual to see what to do when the drive is full. Keep your files backed up.

Good Compact, Slow but good for backups

I love everything about this external hard drive. The color is beautiful and storage capacity is good. I would definitely buy it again.

This is super small. It looks sleek and I think I'm in love with it. 4T is a LOT of space. I have over 10 years of pictures on it and the restored files from 2 old devices and I can access it all! Plus there is so much space left for the future. And I can bring it with me if I want or just leave it at home for safe keeping. One of my friends is a techie wizard and travels the world for work and uses Seagate for saving video files. She's the one who recommended Seagate. I've used 2 other major brands and both have failed me and I've lost data and this last one I paid to have it recovered. Now I'm happy to have a Seagate and I look forward to the security of it.

Best purchase made. Using the external drive to upload various TV Series & Movies from Apple TV+, Creating digital copies of my entire CD Library & digital versions from iTunes/Apple Music. Saving room from my laptop AND physical space from actual CDs & DVDs (also from iCloud). Plug & Play, no more worries. Somewhat better than having to pay for Cable. Plug-in the external drive, and watch (or listen) without the use of Wi-Fi, if need be, especially during recent Pandemic lockdowns.

This is a great product for backing up critical items on your computer. Its easy to use, just plug it in and the device immediately gets to work! It has a lot of storage space and quickly transfers files. I would definitely buy this product again if I ever needed another one

This was a great product that served my immediate work needs to store backups. Easy to set up and use, well packaged and good size. I was hoping for it to be a little smaller but it fits in the laptop bag easily enough.
