a very nice detail ship model!
I like that this is a waterline model in 1/350 scale and I like to see more warships waterline models in the coming years of this scale!

Looks like a nice 1:350 kit!
A charming 1:350 kit. Not too big, not too small. Comes with a cute stand. If you buy some 200 and 1000 grit sanding sponge, you can easily make the two hull parts flush in no time, just don't do this sanding inside where you risk breathing in, or have the sanding dust contaminate your living room. Do it outside in fresh air. Apparently I got some weird kit, with the deck piece being 1.5mm too short. Looking at photos by a reviewer, he don't seem to have this issue. Weird. This was easily fixed by using a sharp blade to cut the deck piece in two ca 4.25cm from the rear side (stern), adding two strips of 1x1mm styrene for adding the additional 1.5mm of deck. Looking forward to finish building this kit! :) I like spending some time with the basic work of working the hull pieces together, so I don't rush that stage of the build. I like using Vallejo putty (white marble powder) together with a coarse! sanding stick, or it takes forever to grind that stuff away. Although this kit comes with a little bit of photo etch, for the radar and presumably depth charge dispensers, I bought Tom's photo etch for this kit separately. I plan to carefully cut off most of the tiny parts on the deck/hull pieces with a tiny photo etch saw (gluing the parts back on later), to try create a perfectly smooth desk surface, flush with the hull piece. That way I can sand the hull properly without worrying about damaging the details. :)

This is a great 1/350 kit for my WW2 collection.
This kit was a great 1/350 collection. I have not built it yet as I am building the Trumpeter 1/350 Sullivans kit. The DE England sunk 6 Jap subs in 2 weeks so it is a great choice for a 1/350 DE kit.

Extremely difficult to assemble, do not try this unless you are a MASTER model maker
The pieces where designed so small, it was a real challenge to put together. Obviously designed for a MASTER model builder, not for children or for people lacking in patience. I almost quit several times and lit it on fire! Dropped some tiny pieces and never could find them.

The pieces aren't warped, and they fit.
I like that the pieces actually fit, and aren't warped. Putting this together for my father that served on a Buckley class DE and it is a joy to work on for him.

Don't Buy If You Don't Want to do the Work
Very detailed and requires much patience. Excellent reproduction. Worth the effort and cost.
