Pass It On: What we know…What we want you to know Paperback – March 17, 2014

I highly recommend "Pass It On". I know many of the authors, but I didn't know all their stories. I found them to be educational and entertaining. I was especially moved by the piece written by Curt Varone, "Reflections on The Station Night Club Fire". Every Fire Inspector in the world should read that account. Another favorite was "Risk vs. Reward: 7 World Trade Center" by Ronald R. Spadafora. This first hand account of what lead up to the collapse of WTC 7 sets the record straight. Rounding out my "Top 3" is "Fire Fire - Important Lesson" by Dr. Burton A Clark. I heard this story first hand and it reinforces the need for training and more training, and much more training. Again, great job...great book.

My husband requested this for Father's Day. Chief G is a legend and he's so very wise. Any firefighter or fire family will benefit from his collected wisdom.I've never paid for gift wrapping before, but this was a special Father's Day gift for my fire chief husband.I have no idea what condition the book is in, but the wrapping is a disgrace. I will never pay $4 for gift wrap from Amazon again.

Kind of expected more. Not a bad read, just filed with stories most officers would/should know. If you don't know than either you are completely new to the fire service or you should change your name to Punxsutawney Phil.

A well written book, and a necessary read for anyone in the fire service. I am currently transitioning into a captain role after a decade in the service, and every section reminds me why I do what I do, and how to do it better. I recommend this to anyone in the service, or considering joining.

This is as advertised, a very good book for rookie and veteran FF's. I have been a FF for over 33 yrs and enjoy reading books that keep me stoked about my job. All the proceeds from book goes to 2 deserving fire related charities. I liked the short, segmented stories as sometimes I don't have the time to sit and read chapters.

My husband (former Firefighter who is now a Fire Inspector) requested this book as one of his Christmas presents. Since he received it, every time I turn around at night he is reading one of the stories.

This is a must read for anybody in the fire service! There are many eye opening things told that should be remembered through out one's career in the fire service!

If you are in the fire world, I can't believe you don't have this yet. 99% of the submissions are worthy and should be read by young and old fire service folks. Pass it on people!!

Schon eine sehr gute Idee, die erfahrensten und angesehensten Vertreter des Feuerschutzwesens der USA zusammen in einem Buch zu Worte kommen zu lassen. Für mich als deutschen Feuerwehrmann ist mir aber eindeutig zu viel Ehre, Bruderschaft und Vaterlandsliebe im Spiel. mag schon sein, dass mir dafür einfach der Zugang fehlt, aber so wahren viele Seiten für mich nicht so informativ.

IF your a Firefighter and care about the job this is a must read.
