SIM card came as advertised!!! Got on the website bought the 52$ plan and got it activated did the test call for Iriduim sat service number and it was Successful !!! So basically bought the sim here thinking it will be activated with out plan I was wrong !! You must purchase plan in order to register the Sim card and get it connected to the satellite! What I like about the 52$ plan that is incoming calls and texts are free which is amazing deal !!! Activating is easy just to to bluecosmo website enter the 18/19 sim serial number purchase plan and will be activated within minutes!! Make sure antenna is extended in clear view of sky and you got the go in minutes I’m using Motorola Iriduim 9505

If you need a Iridium prepaid card for summer (or any other time of year) adventures in Canada/Alaska, definitely buy this one instead of the global card and save a huge amount of money. That is the only reason I even keep a sat phone, but I was not aware of this plan before. And definitely keep away from the mom-and-pop 'satellite phone stores'. I have tried a whole lot of them and have been ripped off *every single time*. Also, keep in mind that sat phones are illegal or need special permission to carry in many countries, especially developing countries, so if you are heading out of North America, you may want to check the local regulations before taking your sat phone there.

Once i came to grips with the cost of satellite phone air time, i found blue cosmo to offer the best value, it arrived promptly through prime, activation was almost instant and fairly easy, i was glad they included a dialing guide, i prefer iridium for my part of the world as signal acquisition is fast and reliable, exactly the two reasons i needed a satellite phone.

We use these cards in our SAT phone while our boat is offshore. We need to use these cards 1-2 times each year. This is the third card we've purchased through Amazon. Rates are competitive. I do wish they offered a 60 minute card. A lot of the purchased minutes get wasted as they are 30 day cards.

The SIM card doesn't work. I paid for over night shipping and it and did not receive it over night. I started a chat with BlueCosmo during troubleshooting and after receiving confirmation I done everything correctly on my end the person I was chatting with stopped responding after stating they were "concerned something is wrong with the phone" which I'm sure there isn't as the last card worked just fine. Next i was asked if I was "trying to use for this weekend" I responded yes and have no further response from BlueCosmo.

BlueCosmo Iridium Satellite Phone - Global SIM Card - Monthly Airtime Service Plan. I've had BlueCosmo plans before. I'm planning a trip to Alaska June 1st and decided to get another SIM card. The monthly plan seemed like a go fit so I purchased this card. The card arrived and I went to the Bluecosmo site to purchase the monthly plan. I put the purchase in the cart and updated all information. At checkout it wouldn't let me checkout until I entered a checkout code.... WHAT! I don't need or want a discount. I just want to buy the product and get on. Bluecosmo help is a stupid AI. No in person help. I canceled the coupon option but every time I do it says it's a requirement to checkout. I can't get past the coupon requirement and I can't make the purchase. After hours and on weekends you can't talk to a real person. Sounds like I'm high and dry (to put it mildly). I can't believe I go to the trouble to buy this crap and I can't even complete a final payment. What happens when you are out in the ocean or at the bottom of a remote canyon and need help. Do you think their AI is going to solve your problem. NO WAY! You won't be able to buy extra minutes because you don't have a discount code! By the way you'll use up your airtime minutes trying to solve the problem. Great Company
