Review: Great Ink but Travelers Beware! - As a student I find myself writing frequently, and once a week I fill my Lamy pen up with this ink. I really love both the black and the blue colours, they are deep but soft on the eyes. The black is rich and dries quickly enough the smudging is usually not an issue. Also, despite fluctuating temperatures it has never shown signs of clotting or clogging my pen and I have had no issues with cold weather (2-5Β°F, -15ish Β°C) The bottle the ink is contained in is a great design for filling up a fountain pen, and the special indent in the bottom will ensure I get every last drop out of this. It's been several months and I haven't even begun to get it near the bottom. I look forward to using this ink until well into summer. The blotting paper is extremely convenient while it lasts, however I have already used it all (some of it was ruined in the scenario depicted below in the warning). A warning, though, to people who travel: package this ink VERY carefully! I recommend sealing it in its own bag, preferably waterproof. No matter how firmly I screw on the cap and how often I check to see if it is upright, this ink bottle will always leak whenever I travel with it. The strangest thing is that I cannot cause it to leak - I've held it over the sink and tipped it from side to side and even upside down, but it will not leak (really a plus in case you knock it over on your desk). I guess it slowly seeps from out of the cap when tipped on its side (I never allowed it to be upside-down) but will not spill if quickly righted.
