Responsive tip at a reasonable price
When I’m on a pool table, I am a control freak. My friends tell me I use way too much English on a lot of my shots. I prefer to.go 3 and 4 rails to get a better position than taking a steeper angle on the follow up shot. The S and SS tips are the best for my style of play in this price range. The tips excel when I’m attempting to draw, follow or masse. It is important to change the tip if you get down to the red layer of the tip. I’m not sure what the “magic” is but just a suggestion…

Great tip
I tried the soft version, great tip for the cost. Would buy again, plays great, holds shape

Most negative reviews trippin, they are decent quality
Wow so many people here should not attempt to replace the tips on their own cues without having proper tools and knowledge, at least watch a video. The negative comments comparing to other brands or saying its not soft enough to create sidespin aka english, those folks need to learn to play, see pooljunkie online or facebook. You can get even more english with a hard tip. The hardness is more about feel and preference rather than miscuing or generating english. Most of you can be beat by a better shooter using a broomstick!!! Now that's off my chest, these tips i have replaced for many average shooters and they are very happy 😊 remember if doing it yourself, it needs to be trimmed to same size as ferrule and don't use too much glue or a glue that doesn't have a rubber additive or it will pop off. The cuesoul tips are an affordable layered tip of decent quality.

Good option
I bought the soft version, it plays well. I have them on 11.8mm Rhino carbon fiber,(from Amazon), and 12.25mm LD wood shafts. They hold shape as expected, they hit well, retain chalk and transfer english as well as “higher priced” name brands. I shoot quite a bit and change tips roughly every 2-4 months depending on usage.

Not as soft as I expected
Internet reviews can be misleading. I ordered some SS tips hoping to pull off some crazy spins, but while the black tip with the pink line makes the cue stand out, it is still a pretty hard compound. Not hard as rock as some comments say, but not a F1 car tire either. Switched this one to my breaking cue to see how they age under hardship, and ordered a soft Kamui original ($25 a pop) to see the difference. I'd say the SS is a good start to play with spins without breaking the bank. If you miss, you'll know it's not a hardware failure. The compound does not clog the cube shapper more than regular leather, and chalk adheres evenly. It comes well packaged from China. Side note: I used some cyano-whatever-superglue with a right amount and waited 2h for it to cure. The tip stuck just fine on a clean surfarce. To the stick tip at least, not as much as was expecting to the CB. [May 26, 2024] Very amateurish comparison with the Kamui: Pros are surgeons and I am a bad butcher. With now two cues of same weight and same shape, I cannot tell the stroke difference. They both feel 'nice' with good speed control when hit correctly. Tried on a table with a worn felt and rough balls, so I can't really report about spins, but I did not notice a difference in the amount of adherence. As for looks, the Cuesoul tip is an immediately noticeable statement, while the Kamui is pretty stealthy (I cleaned up the white plastic between the too pics, because, you know... vanity). I really wish I was a better player is my final conclusion.

Good tip at a good price
I got tired of spending big bucks on Kamui soft that didn’t last long. These are about $5 a tip and feel just as good as the over priced lux ones. Remember, its the indian not the arrow.

Every tip my own cues.. these work great.. just as good as a Kamui medium... The only discrepancies are on my end but I am super happy with them

Put one on my cue and tried it out. For the money, the tip plays very good. Has good ball control and movement; keeping in mind that a lot is the responsibiilty of the person/player.

Great tips. Easy to apply and shape, didn’t take that long to do. Have used now for some time and I like the feel, giving me more confidence and don’t think I’ve done a miscue yet. Yes might need a little rough up now and again but good value for money
