Do this product work better on Black cats?

As we have never done any research to show effectiveness based on color, we are very certain that it will work on all color cats.

Should this be applied between the shoulders in one spot or in several spots down the back? The product page gives contradictory instructions!

I want to share my 50 yr experience using harsh flea prevention ingredients (that unfortunately work best) I am not a Veterinarian. Like others on these reviews, I simply need the best product for best price. Concerning flea prevention, I see many questions that hint to inexperience and/or 1st time cat parents. After rescuing dozens of orphans in a climate that breeds huge fleas & ticks, hopefully this will help someone. Instructions on the outer box must be followed 100%. Not partially, not 50% but 100% to avoid poisoning your kitties! You must apply ONLY between shoulder blades, the only unreachable spot on cats. Then you must keep other cats away for 24 hours . If a cat licks this, it will poison her/him. If kitty gets it on her tongue, severity of side effects depends on the sensitivity level. If you see foaming of the mouth, it means she has consumed or at least gotten some on her tongue. I must repeat that treated cats definitely need to be separated for 24 hrs. No grooming one another! If you forget & touch your kitty on the treated spot before it is completely dry (24 hrs) Immediately wash your hands. If within 24 hrs you accidentally petted in the manner we most often use, (as in fingers on top of head & down the back) even if it feels dry, quickly wash your hands plus wash the areas you touched on her that possibly spread the product, even a tiny it. The oily residue is dangerous. Please be careful. On a small cat you have to watch that the liquid doesn't run down the sides of the shoulders as they squirm to get away. You'd think by now scientists would have come up with a safe pesticide for our precious feline population. For both fleas & ear mites that live in the humid South.
