NEON 12V Vehicle Power Cable for Garmin GPS Nuvi 200/300/1200/1300 Series (010-10723-06)

I have an older Garmin model from around 2010. This does do the job and will charge it but if you have your device on and then you plug this in, it will shut down and restart. The restart isn't immediate (which it usually is without the charger plugged in) and will take a minute or two to load. This is a PAIN if you don't know where to drive (I use this mainly on vacation.) Sometimes, it'll cause the gps to freeze. Also, if you turn off the car with this plugged in (like at a gas station) and you keep the gps on, when you restart the engine, it will make the device crash again and restart. I like that it charges my device but everything else is a pain. Not worth the hassle of returning. I actually never use my gps anymore because of this and now just use Waze on my phone. I know I could look for another charger but after this one, I just don't want another one that causes similar problems.

Works perfectly for my car. My Garmin's battery life is terrible and the charger for it became frayed and stopped working. I bought this to replace it and have zero complaints about it. There is no reason to spend a lot of money on a branded one. It definitely came with the lighter charger (some people have complained that it was just a usb cable, but mine came exactly as shown). Very happy. And if it breaks, it was cheap enough that I wouldn't mind replacing it, but so far, no issues and I've been using it for months.

Works fine on the nuvi 52LM, On a nuvi 255 it operates as if connect by usb to computer then after 120 seconds it decides to power on the unit fine. However on my old nuvi 255w it only charges the unit acting like it is usb connected to a pc. other than those comment it appears substantial and of good quality with replaceable fuse included in the power plug. Interestingly the factory orig unit interchangeably powers each of the above units fine. Garmin must have a secret in their circuitry.

I went to use my gps with the original cord one day and it completely broke apart. I didn't want to invest in a new gps so I figured I'd give this wire a try. I read through all of the reviews and wasn't sure if it would work for my gps or not. However, I plugged it in and it immediately turned on! I was able to charge the gps and use it at the same time. Super happy with this purchase... it saved me hundreds of dollars!

This cord powers and charges my Garmin. I bought a cheaper one off of the auction site and it would charge the Garmin but wouldn't let it turn on. My battery on my Garmin was caput so this did not work as well. This one worked like the original one that burned out. I have since gotten a new Garmin and am still using this cord. It is great.

I bought this to replace the factory car charger that came with my Garmen Nuvi navigation unit. The oem cord did not hold up very long. Just over 2 years then had a short or break in the wiring. This new low priced one works great and is smaller on the plug which saves space for hard to fit plug ins. Doesn't get hot like I was afraid of. So far so good.

It did not charge my GPS. But I guess the battery on my GPS cannot hold charge anymore.It is more than 5yrs old. I should have invested on a car charger for my smart phone instead. LOL. I'm now using the Google app on my phone for directions. But 5 stars for it, especially for the price,
