Absolutely works for cholesterol decline. My Dr was impressed and said it was a very good supplement, and FDA approved, so she thought it was a wonderful choice.

I found this product on a Internist website, which my Internist had suggested, I was actually looking for something else when I found this product on the Internist website and a Cardiologist was recommending this one. I can tell you the science doesn't lie; I reduced my usage of Cholestin from 2-4 a day to just 1 and added 2 of these capsules and my blood work has been excellent. Reduced my cholesterol totals to 178 from 188. I was happy because I wanted to reduce my exposure to statin which Cholestin is an excellent grade of Red Rice Yeast, but that still is a statin. (Btw my internist latter admitted to knowing this product works, "Oh yeah, we have known about this for some time". we meaning Doctors I presume, that was his comment when I brought a bottle of this into his office during my annual exam. I understand why most Dr's will not recommend it, it is because of the way they are trained and probably concerns over potential malpractice issues, especially here in California. They will only recommend what is a pharmaceutical product with all the appropriate testing, and Dr's want something that they know precisely what each pill contains and what that should deliver in terms of potency and bioavailability. They also will prescribe based on their particular groups standards-ie-Internists board, Cardiology board, etc) What is interesting is doctors have known for years that the plant sterols will bind to the fat and cholesterol in your stomach and you will eliminate it out via the stool. This is a no brainer for anyone who has cholesterol issues and wants a natural way to reduce their lipid count. Get off the Statins, in particular Lipitor and the other RX statins and atleast try this one for 3 months and then have your blood tested. *I would like to add that I checked vita cost dot com to see if they had this item? They do and I almost bought it because it was several dollars cheaper but then when I checked the formula this one is double the strength!* So buy it here!

Easy to use, no side effects- works well to lower cholesterol

I’m not going to take these after all as I had to start statin. I like this brand of supplements a lot. I didn’t open but assume I can’t return them.

Excellent product!

I bought this based on reviews. My Oct 2024 tests: Total=233; HDL=44; LDL=164. My doctor was too worried as a year before I had a heart CT scan with a zero (0) score. ** In any case, I began using this supplement in mid February 2025 and took just 2 capsules per day - typically 1 in the morning with breakfast, and 1 with either lunch or dinner. My April 2025 tests (2 months using Cholestepure) : Total=218; HDL 52; LDL=146. My doctor was happy and wondered what had changed. ** I am now moving up to 3 capsules per day, and we'll see what my October 25 testing shows; I'm optimistic.

I received the product and opened it, only to find two empty capsules. One was cut in half and the other was empty but the casing was intacted. This wasn't the first time receiving the product like this. We'll see how the company response to this review. It doesn't upset my stomach, I have no side effects. The effectiveness, I am not sure because I would need blood work done. It is a little pricey!

Hopefully optimistic that these will help lower cholesterol I'm right on the border of to high of count on my cholesterol levels, don't want to take prescription meds if I can avoid it, so doing some diet changes and taking these to see if it makes a difference I've use Pure Encapsulations before with success Love that they don't have a bunch of fillers in them Easy enough to swallow
