Killing Eve: No Tomorrow Review: My Second Read! - I love this book series; and the television series as well. The characters are so engaging, fun, and colorful. This read is fast paced,, and will keep you turning pages just as fast. You will want to read all three! Review: Worth a read for fans - If you're a fan of the TV series and want more, I recommend giving the source trilogy a read. That is, however, with the caveat that you should NOT expect the dynamic, lively characters given to us by PWB, Jodie Comer, and Sandra Oh. In the nicest and least sexist way possible, this is quite clearly female characters written by a man. They are still fun to read, but lack a certain depth and complexity that we've come to enjoy from the show. In terms of storyline, there are some awkward jumps in logic. As for writing style, the author relies a little too heavily on dialogue. It's easy to add your own flare in based on what you know about the characters in the show, but it is not given on the page. I do like that the books have a little more sex and cursing than the show (it fits the characters), but at times V comes across as a little too crude and not the effortlessly elegant way Jodie portrays her (i.e., "our Villanelle" would never get head from a gross stranger in an alleyway). Basically, if you are obsessed with the show and want to read the 'original version' of the story and characters, this is worth the time. It is a very easy read, the whole series can be tackled in a weekend.

Can’t wait to read the next book in the series.
Great story. Amazing characters. Without trying to spoil anything, Villanelle blowing up the Nazi is hilarious. I laughed out loud at the unbelievable scenario.

There is Tomorrow — as I will be re-reading the Killing Eve books numerous times in the future.
Great book. I have now read all of the Killing Eve books and they are all fantastic. Unfortunately, the TV series doesnt follow the books. The books end as a “happy ending” unlike the TV series.

Eve is it
Not like the show at all. Which I enjoyed. It's interesting to see how the characters and events in the book are vastly different. I enjoyed the book as well.

A little sloggy
This book felt a little mired down in parts as the conversations were not snappy and they were often bogged down with information wasn't relevant to the plot or moving the scene forward. It felt like a lot of things could have been left on the cutting room floor as it were. A lot of it was a mixture of what I suspect is the authors effort to link the successful TV series to his books in an effort to boost sales because some scenes were straight from season two. I realize that authors often consult the series on set but this way a little too glaringly obvious for my tastes because there was a startling lack of character insight during many of the scenes that just screamed "well of you want more you better watch the show." The action and the assassinations made up for the lack of pithy dialogue but I look forward to getting a bit more insight into Eve on the run in the next book in the series. Hopefully the author will have had enough to write another complete novella on par with the first book.

...amazing read...
An amazing story - as good as any that I have read. Although there is action, the plot is character driven - and these are two incredible protagonists! Need to read books in sequence - but read them one after the other to keep the story flowing and not lose momentum. Luke Jennings is a tremendous writer. Not sure if I want a sequel, or just leave it where it ends....

No logré seguir leyendo, es tan diferente a lo que es la serie. La compré pensando que podría tener algo similar, no deberian estar las actrices de portada.

Fun and interesting depiction of a relationship with a psycopath (I dont know how much of it can be fiction but it seems plausible to be the dynamic between at least a narcisist , and someone without a personality disorder. Romance, suspense, cool story. I liked the depiction of the relationship between the 2 women.

Loved the tv series but the books are much better, raw and intense and both characters less bizzarre. Villanelle is still ruthless but her behaviour has more senso than in the series where the comedy, the act was more featured.

Gripping. Just Can’t wait to see the next instalment in print and TV. Lots of surprises and twists that will have me coming back for more.

You may or may not have seen the TV adaptation of this. If not it’s worth watching and won’t spoil the read as there are only superficial similarities in the narrative between the two. (For what it’s worth Series 1 is brilliant but starts to go down hill in Series 2 sadly, still worth a look. Re: reading better than TV. Mater of opinion. Series 1 won a BAFTA I believe. Near absurdity is injected into épisodes of the relationship between psychopathic assassin and British intelligence worker by the device of humour. What happens on screen is not funny. But it works. The reason Series 2 is not so good is that it all hangs together on this one thing. Which having seen it all already becomes predictable and it just thus doesn’t work so well. Good books need good ideas/writing/plot etc etc. When then have it as both this book and the first do. Nothing else is needed to make for a thrilling and enjoyable read. There’s time to really dig into the characters and bring them alive. No shocking visuals or artificial additives are needed. Is was it is, just really good. Totally engaging from start to finish. A deliciously twisted ending. And... well what on earth can we expect from book three? I’m definitely going to preorder it as expecting big things. Would appear there will be a third TV series perhaps that will peak again? Absolute joy of a read, wholeheartedly recommended.
