This should be standard in new homes! Looks GREAT, works fabulous, and matches stainless appliances. WIN!
My switch for my disposal was under the sink in our new house and it was a pain to turn on and off (firstworld problem, I know, but still..). We had an open space on the countertop by the sink, and this fit in perfectly! Now it looks so seamless and it's very easy and smooth to utilize the disposal. It looks SO professional! I love it! This will actually dress up your kitchen. A MUST-HAVE! My boyfriend installed it in about 5 minutes. Piece of cake. Just follow the instructions. (It took longer to empty out under the sink than it did to install the switch.) It looks GREAT and matches all of my stainless appliances.

Stainless Steel Garbage Disposer Air Switch Trim Unit
Good looking, good quality, works well and at a reasonable price. There was a protective coating over the button that was a bit gummy but I'm glad it had it to protect from scratches.

Failed in a Year
Like the look of the product, but after a year and three months it has stopped working properly. You now have to push super hard for it to turn on or off, and even that is inconsistent and getting progressively worse. I tried calling support, reached a full mailbox and no other recourse. Would not recommend the product or manufacturer.

Worth the price
This air switch works well and looks great. Check under your sink before you buy. My water line is below the outlet and the box didn’t fit in that space. I had to unscrew the outlet and turn it upside down for the box to fit. Not the most elegant solution but it works great.

Looks nice, heavy
It looks and feels quality. Fairly heavy, actual metal construction. Unfortunately the finish did not acceptably match my faucet (Delta Champagne Bronze) so I returned without installing.

Sleek, modern, high quality.
Haven't installed it yet, but quality looks great. Button is definitely metal. Feels solid. I can hear the switch engage when I press the button - even with the whole length of the hose. Easy to install - just plug it into the outlet, plug in the disposal unit and connect the hose to the switch button. I can't wait for the countertop guy to drill the hole.

Finish is not Polished Nickel it's Stainless Steel
The product itself seems to be pretty good quality. It's mostly plastic. The button is metal which is nice. I just was not happy with the finish. I was wanting to coordinate with a polished nickel faucet but this is not even polished. I'm now going to order a InSinkErator button and hope it will work with the guts of this air switch. I would likely order again if I was doing a different finish.

Worked great since I could just plug in
Worked great since I could just plug in. The button has a good feel and looks nice. I have only a 1 ft air line and the switch action is quick. Great value for the price.
