## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is the side wall deep enough to except 20mm conduit**
A: Not really.   There's no opening to accept a conduit anyway.    I wouldn't recommend drilling the side either - it would likely shatter.   Connection can only be made from behind the light fitting - the cable coming through the wall on which it's mounted.  I'm not even sure I'd recommend this light for outside use where it gets rained on.   The compartment that holds the bulb is sealed OK.  But there's no seal around the edge of the back part where it sits against the wall.

**Q: Is it Manufactured in China**
A: Yes its made in china , but i have these in my garden 5 off them and they work great .. i have wifi TP link bulbs in them that i can control from an app .. i put extra silicone on the Sealing faces to stop water ingress and they have been no problem .. i have them 2 years now

**Q: No ip rating in specs?**
A: Hi, the seals deteriorate in a short space of time, letting water in. I eventually took mine out and bought some EU spec good quality lights. These lamps aren’t worth the hassle of tripping electrics in wet weather.

**Q: Hi is there any way to convert these to 12v ?**
A: All said and done it is a light fitting with a holder in it. 12v bulbs are available in Edison screw fitting so I see no reason why not. That said, I’d consult an electrician to advise you what driver you need for chosen lamps (wattage). Obviously you need correct IP rating of anything you use, dependant on its location. I’m not an electrician giving you advice, I did mine on 240v and they look great, I swapped the bulbs to LED and they look good. A good sparky is the best bet for advice before you start spending your cash.
