LOVE IT , read on for more info .
This is my favorite Dexter Russell knife even though I find the medium flex profile too stiff . If it had a max flex profile it would be unbeatable but it's still my favorite . The blade isn't as narrow as the 7 " and 8 " models which is great because those blades are a little too narrow imo. The sofgrip handle is true perfection . The scabbards for the sani safe and sofgrip lines of knives are the best and well worth buying if the knife doesn't come with one . They are without question the best sheaths that Dexter currently offers and far superior to the Dextreme knife sheaths and blue colored blade guards that come with some of the sani safe and sofgrip lines of knives . The all white scabbards also fit the Dexter Dextreme knives very well and far better than the sheaths that the Dextreme knives are sold with . Is it a perfect fit ? Nope , but it still fits the Dextreme knives better than the sheath that the Dextreme knives come with .

Excellent knife!
I have been doing sushi for about 35 years, and was a commercial fisherman when I was younger. This knife is great for filleting fish, but also great for working in the kitchen cutting fish and other prepping tasks for making sushi rolls, and cutting the rolls themselves. Easy to keep sharp, clean and care for, all around a great value for the money!

Really nice filet knife.
Very nice knife. Feels good in the hand. Blade has just enough flex to handle cleaning of a variety of sizes of fish. Holds it edge extremely well.

Great for cleaning large fish
Works great for cleaning large salmon and other fish. Holds an edge very well. Only downside is no sheath

Works well enough but it’s not excellent
I read the reviews on this knife and people are comically uninformed. Sharpness seems to be their prime concern when no matter what a knife will dull and you need to sharpen a fillet knife regularly for the best performance. So for this knife… It came sharp but it wasn’t sharp enough so I put it through my sharpener and the difference was noticeable. For holding an edge, it seems to work well enough to complete the job. I’ve filleted halibut, white seabass, and other bass and it held the edge throughout. I do however always sharpen after every use so it always has a clean edge. The two downsides are that the knife develops superficial rust discoloration that doesn’t come off and that the matching scabbard holds moisture and had rusty rivets. So it’s lame to have to take so much care of an inexpensive yet good fillet knife.
