this product has been around since my grandmother was a girl and used to clean and disinfect wounds . Although the product ingredients have changed since it’s conception it is an excellent product iIcontinue to keep it as an essential disinfectant in my first aid kit

I am an old fashioned person who firmly believe in old fashioned products because they really do work. I am 64 years old an my mother used it on us when we were babies, I used it on my children and grandchildren and never has it let me down. The soap along with the salve have been replaced by cortisone creams which are no where as near effective but we are forced to used these products because we cannot find the old fashioned remedies any more. I am able to order the sayman salve through the pharmacy by special order but they know nothing about the soap. At one time they did, but now it does not appear in their ordering catalogs. I verbally spread the word about these products hoping that someday they will reappear on the shelves in stores and pharmacies and the price would go back down to more reasonable prices like they used to be -- $`.99 to $2.99 was what you paid for the large containers; but not the price is exorbitant but as long as they work, I will keep using it. Using these products, rashes and sores clear up over-night rather than a week or two. I love this product. Thanks for having it.

the order I placed was not what I recieved , you cannot go by the picture shown , I was looking for cleansing bar with lanolin and did not get it , buyers beware,

It is ok but I was very disappointed that it was not the same bar as the original. Same package but totally different. No lanolin.
