Great for Joining Dissimilar Metals like Steel to Copper or Brass
Works great on sheet metal like steel to steel or steel to copper. I use a large electric solder iron as shown in the video rather than a torch. This solder melts at a lower temperature than brazing, so the base metals are not distorted. Just need to sand the metal clean and apply the flux with the brush that is inside the can, or with a separate brush as I did. Then heat the metals and apply the solder until there is good flow and coverage. I have also seen people use kapton tape to prevent the solder from flowing where it is not desired. This Harris combo is high quality and works well. This does contain some silver and does not contain lead.

Less heat than brazing, especially helpfull in tight areas with combustibles that create fire hazard.
Good for soldering residential AC line sets. Good to 10,000 psi. Which is way beyond manufactures requirements. Kit with flux completes needed solder items. Around 500 degrees of heat, instead of up to 1500+ degrees of brazing, lessons chance of making copper brittle and or worping King valves.

For me this was better than brazing on ac system!
Was perfect for ac lines. No nitrogen needed. Held 370 psi for over 4.5 hours. Pulled system down to 310 microns. Rose to 380 in 10 minutes for Vacuum decay test
