AVON fmg Glimmer Wash-Off Waterproof Mascara - Black (Lot of 3)

It goes on easily and makes my lashes look fuller and makes my look brighter even though I have very pale lashes. I also like how easily the mascara is to remove.

I love that it doesn't smear, but yet you can wash it off with soap and water.

I googled Avon to make this purchase but it was out of stock! Not at Amazon!?! Go figure! It’s a great product that doesn’t smudge

Most of the time I wear this it has been fine, but periodically my long lower lashes get "raccoon eyes" so I have to really scrub with something to get it off. The wand is great and applies perfectly, as I mentioned though it does take on extra mascara on my lower lashes that transfers to my skin periodically. I was skeptical that this would come off easily but I use eye make up remover and it needs hardly any swipes at all to get all of it off, I can get away with just a beauty cloth I think to remove it so that's a plus. I give it 4 stars only because of 2 things, you don't get a large amount of the product. Second, as I already mentioned the periodic scrubbing off around my under lashes. It does stay on for the most part on the days without the product smudging under eyes, it works great, I haven't really tried the "crying test" but I do know that when it transfers to another part of your eyes like under mine, then you really have to scrub to get it off. One of the plus and minuses of using waterproof mascara.

This is the only mascara I will use. Its waterproof but also washes off with soap and water. I dont want to deal with the whole make up remover stuff. I use it daily for many years (at least 10 years). I used to use the brown but that has been discontinued, so now I use the black. This mascara is great if you have watery runny eyes, where non-waterproof will just make a mess. If you go swimming with a lot of water use it may ware off, but if you just get a little bit of water exposure it will stay strong. If you rub your eyes it will ware off, especially if wet. It goes on smooth but does not go on chunky, where I have golden eyelashes, this is better for me. A mascara that goes on thick looks horrid, considered I am soo far skinned and I prefer more of a natural look. This mascara is not to make lashes longer and/or thicker, its best for just giving color and making them look natually beautiful. I personally dont like all the new stuff, I just want simple adding of color that does look like I am ready for the club. You can apply multiple layers and it can look more dramatic, if wanted. I find that when you first open you need to expose a little pumped in air to it, since it comes out really thin. But dont do too much otherwise it will dry out and get clumpy (never pump your mascara). Because it comes off in pieces (and does dissolve) when washing it off with soap it does settle in the drain and can cause clogging if you have alot of hair getting the drain, I have very long hair so we have to clean up the drain regularly. I will continue to use the product as long as it exist and I use mascara.

I used to buy this mascara at Avon, since it is one of the few products that does not irritate my eyes. I could not find it at Avon any more and was elated when I saw it on Amazon. This mascara does not clump, is easily removed, but is totally waterproof.

Loving Avon mascara I ordered this 3 piece set. I received some awful colored lipstick. I had to take my time and gas money to return it at staples. Amazon ordered another set of mascara. Another set of lipstick was delivered to me. Amazon said this was an issue with this company. Then why hasn't Amazon removed them from it's site. I'm getting my money back but have to take my time and money to return it to Staples. Overall some very expensive mascara. So I'm done with ordering from Amazon!!
