I'm a marine surveyor (inspect boats and ships) meaning every morning I can look forward to full day of kneeling, bending, wiggling and crawling around engine compartment, bilges and every other type of limited access space that can be found aboard. My knees are an extremely import part of my profession - if they don't work, neither can I.I've been through a seemly endless number of brands and styles and I can say these are the best kneepads I've used.The pictures show both the Gel Lite Pro Flooring Kneepads and another style I've used fromMcGuire-Nicholas (for comparison).Pros*Solid, good quality construction. Heavy stitching and rugged material.*All day comfort. They feature a wide, stretchy neoprene strap that's very comfortable - even when wearing shorts! The straps also feature a sewn on pull tab at the end, which makes removal easy. A nice touch that speaks to the overall quality of the pads.*Great design. They are semi-ridged and curved (which allows them to cup the knees and provide great support) but unlike hard plastic pads, they also feature a soft, non-marring exterior cover to prevent them from scuffing whatever you are kneeling on. The "Gel Zone" gel pad is also a great feature. Combined with the cupping action of the pads, it is a knee-saver.Cons - none that I can see really. I wear these pads 5 to 6 hours a day and during the summer they will start to smell after a while (due to sweat). When that happens, I simply throw them in the washer and they come out like new. A pair of these will generally last me about 3 months of daily use, after which they let you know it's time for a new pair - the gel starts to flatten a little and the hook and loop strips start to get fuzzy and fail to hold as well.Bottom line: A great set of knee pads at a great price.

I really want to give these a 5, because they really are the most comfortable knee pads I've ever worn. I've been wearing knee pads regularly for around 3 years so I'm pretty used to them, but after 5 or 6 hours they start getting on my nerves. I barely know I even have this brand on when I'm wearing them though and have to remember to take them off.I've been wearing the hard shell Work Pro brand for some time now, and the protection is amazing, however they constantly fall down and it drives me insane and wastes so much time having to readjust them, which is why I've been on the hunt for a different pair.Anyways. I am keeping this pair and I do like them, but can only wear these for jobs where I'm not constantly kneeling and crawling because the padding is not as thick as I need it to be to protect my knees and keep them from hurting.And I have to be mindful because if I'm leaning over the side of a tub I can feel the edge through these and it hurts my knees really bad.Anyways, these would be great for someone that needs to get used to wearing knee pads, or needs something for light use.

Soft cap knee pads, great for gardening or flooring. No hard cap to shift or Mar. These are replacing a pair I had for 12 yrs. Hope these last as long. Qualityis very good.

I am not in the trades, however I do find myself doing my own flooring, trim, and duct work, etc. from time to time. I don't know why I put off getting some knee pads, so long. These are a treat.. My latest project is to redo some bad flooring in a camper. After 5 hours of banging around on my hands and knees, my knees still felt great. I'm sure there maybe "better" knee pads, but for this weekend workman, I think they work quite and are reasonably priced for occasional use.

Padding and durability was amazing. The thickness is great. Stays in place. And the best thing is you can wash them in the washer.

These were priced reasonably although pretty comfortable (not as comfortable as my previous husky brand) the velcro has failed on the first one and now Im n the second (I only wear one on my right leg) hopefully this will last longer than a couple monthgs...

100% what I hoped they would be. Indoor all surfaces, more comfortable than standing.
