Strawberries and Cream Keto Instant Hot Breakfast Cereal

Soooo delicious!! I'm been wanting some hot cereal since the weather has gotten cold and came across this! It is SOO good!! Reminds me of the strawberry instant oatmeal packets you get in the store but this is not oatmeal and it is Keto-friendly at 2 net carbs per serving!! I will not candy coat this... the serving size is small at 1/3 cup OR 5 tablespoons and 1 teaspoon which are equivalent of 1/3 cup. It really is worth the buy even with a small serving size like that. Totally tames the hankering for oatmeal perfectly! It gives me that warm fuzzy feeling while eating it when watching it snow outside! I love this stuff lol. They have other flavors that I would like to try, but so far this is the first one and it is AWESOME!! I like to add a little Milkadamia unsweetened Vanilla milk to mine, it is so tasty that way. Even by itself it still tastes great! Fast to prepare (only 1 minute in the microwave!) and filling! All in all I am surprised how great this hot cereal is, being on KETO/LC has seriously set the bar low in the flavor department when it comes to Dupes for typical full carb items. Flavor was AMAZING, definitely has the Strawberry and Creme flavor we all know. Texture is a little weird at first if you’re expecting something like typical “hot cereal”. The whole sunflower kernels and chia seeds give it crunch and a lumpy texture. Packaging said to add 1/4-1/3 cup of boiling water to 1/3 cereal, I started with 1/4 cup and it was VERY thick, so I added a splash of unsweetened vanilla almond milk to thin it out some and it’s pretty good. Next time I’ll probably add a little more because it thickened up more while I was eating it. I paired this with a KITU Super Coffee for breakfast and was satisfied until lunch, which I also impressed with because this girl is always hungry. Price point is a little above my budget since I am the only one on the life style in my house I have to buy regular items in addition to the LC items. But with that said since you only need 1/3 cup for a meal it will last me the month if I just incorporate it into my menu a few times a week.

I really like this cereal. The consistency might be a turnoff for some, but it's fine with me. Others have complained about the portion size. I make the cereal with both 1/3 cup of water and cereal, and it comes out fine. As they recommend, mix the water and cereal *first* then microwave 30 seconds, then mix again, then microwave another 30 seconds. I add walnuts (a good low carb nut) to the cereal after the first 30 seconds. Makes a great filler.Unfortunately, the company raised its price 25% in the few weeks since my purchase. I cannot possibly justify more than $10 for this small bag, so won't be buying again until the price is lowered. It's a shame these companies are so greedy :-(

The smell is good. The flavor is good. Was too soupy so the next time I made it with less water. I like it better with 1/2 water & 1/2 milk. I will only eat this at work as I couldn’t eat it all at once. I have to eat it a couple bites at a time. “Cereal” is a bit of a misnomer but I don’t know what I’d call it. For the price I probably wouldn’t buy again. Tho filling and kept me full for a few hours.

I tried this on a whim after running across an add for a sample bag. I read the ingredients and it's nutritional value. It's rela similar to something I make. So I thought I'd give it a shot. The samples had sold out and the marketing team sent me bag inta place which was way more than I woulve expected.I tried it and it smells wonderful first of all. The strawberry aroma from the actual strawberries is delicious! It's easy to prepare and tastes great. The texture is smooth and yet similar to oatmeal. It's not super sweet out of the bag which is greatm I did add some stevia but not much. My grandson who's not Keto even tried it and it's 5yr old approved!It makes for a great breakfast alternative especially if your short on time all the while... Being delicious and nutritious.

I've had other "keto hot cereals," and they've all been gross, to put it bluntly. Weird texture, strange aftertaste, and not very good in general. I was expecting the same with this product, but liked that they had a strawberries and cream flavor (versus the generic maple-only that seems to pervade the market). It arrived this morning, so I halfheartedly fixed myself a bowl. IT WAS DELICIOUS. Even my 5 year old liked it--she's not a picky eater, but she typically doesn't like munching on my keto snacks. Not only is it delicious, but it's healthy and good for you, keto dieter or not. I would highly recommend this product (specifically the strawberries and cream flavor) for anyone who is looking to remove or minimize grains in their diet.

The Strawberries and Cream is the second flavor of this product I've tried. I'm disappointed that I don't know what to do with the other 6.5 servings of this stuff...maybe I can just mix it directly into the compost. When it was cooking, it smelled decent; a little off, but there was at least a hint of strawberry smell. The taste, though, is terrible. If you're exploring this product as an alternative to oatmeal, I recommend starting with the cinnamon flavor; I enjoyed it from the moment I opened the bag through the last bite. VERY tasty, and the texture was as expected from what you see.
