For people with knee issues ... sitting down in a chair is usually not a problem. However, standing up is a whole different ball of wax! Trying to get out of the chair is not only uncomfortable (maybe even painful) & many times embarrassing, but it can also cause more injury to the person. This chair solves the "standing up" issue. I purchased this for a friend that is over 6 feet tall & is getting ready to have both knees replaced. I am so happy to see him be able to stand up on the first try without any problem. I am 5'3" and can comfortably sit in this chair also. Now he has a great chair to use in the garage, backyard or even inside his house. It is light, easy to move around, aesthetically pleasing, and has a nice tray with a cup holder plus the side pockets. It took a good, solid push on the seat to get it set up. Looks like it might take a bit of force to fold up. Neither he nor I have tried to fold it up. The chair is very sturdy and quite comfortable. I am truly impressed. Best of all, I ordered it from the Amazon Warehouse & saved about $20.00. It took about a week to arrive, but the savings made it worth the wait. This is a great product! Update: 2023 Jul 16 These chairs are so wonderful that I have purchased 2 more. Now my friend keeps one in the backyard, one in the garage & another in the family room. These chairs are very sturdy and just perfect. When his sons visit, the chairs are hauled around from the yard to the garage, then the family room and all around again & again. And ... they still look like new!

I bought these for my elderly parents to sit out on their deck in. They are such a great height for them to get in and out of and they are very sturdy! The foot rest is nice. They are also comfortable enough that my dad took a nap in his! 😉

I do 2 to 3 pop-up markets or farmers markets every week. My knees are back started hurting from using the regular fold out camping chairs so I decided to get a higher one. I should’ve done this a lot sooner! It is so easy to get in and out of. It’s very roomy and I love the bottom bar where I can put my feet. The tray table is sturdy and you can put a very large 30 ounce Tumblr in the cupholder with no problem. The bottom net came with it for under the seat but I don’t use it. But it’s a good place. I might use that instead to drape over my backpack when I travel so that pick pockets can’t unzip it. Just a thought for using the extra netting. Also, the pockets on the left side are great. I don’t really use them but if we ever go camping or to a firework show I probably will. It’s nice and durable and I highly recommend this to anyone who needs a little bit higher directors chair. It’s not the extremely high one it’s just the perfect size and height.

Red? There is no red in this chair! It is more of a brown, very close to an ugly burnt orange. For an Aggie, that’s gonna be hard to deal with. Structurally, it’s pretty nice and the bar in the front is just the perfect height for putting my feet on. I like the side table. It fits my tumbler just right. I’m sure any of the other colors would’ve worked OK. Easy to set up and fold. A carrying strap would’ve been nice.

This chair is almost perfect! It’s sturdy, easy to assemble, great style and supportive. Yes, it’s a tad heavy but still manageable. The one thing that this chair needs is to extend the length of the seat to leg length. The leg rests a one of the bars in a weird place. If they extend it 2-3 inches in length it would be perfect. I’m still giving it a 5 because it really is very nice.

This chair was a godsend. It's sturdy and comfortable for a tall, well-built older gentleman who needed a stable, roomy beach chair. Its height is convenient for helping folks who can't sit low because of knee and mobility issues. The design prevents the chair from sinking into sand too far. The foot bar on the bottom adds to the overall comfort. The sturdy side table and side bag of storage compartments are well made and add to the chair's functionality. It's easy to fold and carry in the back of an SUV. The seat provides plenty of cushioning, making the chair a poolside staple when not used on the beach. Except for attaching the net underneath the chair for extra storage, no assembly was required. We are pleased with this investment. We plan to store ours away from moisture when we put away pool furniture so I can't comment yet on how it endures season to season and resists rust.

Sturdy chair for someone that needs good support. The chair is made extremely well with strong fabric to withstand many years of wear. The frame of the chair is made of alloy steel & constructed to hold an adult of good size. On the front lower part of the chair there is a rail to rest your feet. This takes a bit to get used to, but works well. My husband was just diagnosed with Parkinson’s & the chair allowed him to feel comfortable & stable getting up & out of the chair with little assistance. We used the chair on our most recent fishing trip. The chair takes a bit of strength to open & close until it is broken in. I would buy this chair again & would highly recommend. I put straps on the chair to help carry & belt with a clip to hold it closed when transporting. The chair is worth the price I paid & a good value for my money.

Really like the director chairs. They are just the right size and height to see over the rail on our balcony. They are a bit heavy and in the event of high winds we have to bring them inside. The canvas on the chars are weathering well and should last our time in this apartment.

Perfect for makeup artist. Perfect for small height girlies to do makeup on clients.It have a footrest as well which makes it just perfect.

At first, I was a bit hesitant because of the price. Would this chair really be worth it? I am happy to day, it really is!! I have mobility issues, which means that chairs are really important for me but they need to check all the boxes in my list. This chair has it all! The first thing I did when I got it, was lift it to get it out of the bag. That in itself is amazing, because I can't lift much. I also opened the chair myself, and set it up in my living room. Again, I usually can't do that, so it is already my favourite chair at this point. However, the moment I sat down, I reached nirvana. The chair is so comfortable, and wide!! I was able to cross my legs which is one of my comfort positions. The little table on the side is very sturdy but I can easily take it down without moving from my seat. The next moment of truth happened when I needed to get up. I literally could not believe how easy it was!! I have never been able to get off a chair with so much ease!! I have to add though, the taller option would have been too tall for me (I'm 5'2") so I am happy I went for this one. I actually bought this specifically to take it to farmers markets, but I am seriously thinking of taking it with me anytime I go anywhere. I'm even planning to use it in the kitchen so I can cook!! I just got it today but already spent over 30 minutes sitting on it and it did not aggravate my back pain. I cannot wait to use it for reals!! I know this review sounds made up or paid for, but I honestly could not love this chair more. I have fibromyalgia on top of other conditions so like I said, chairs are important to me and this is my new favourite one.

Well built, good materials, exactly as described. I use it at art shows where I have to get up and down all day. The height is spot on and the foot rest works perfect. The table is solid unlike others I have used before and the pockets are a nice touch.
