I began using Murrays years ago and have always used it. I personally love it. I love the hold and it doesn't bother me that it is nearly impossible to remove but I thought it was time to try to find something better for my hair as Murrays tends to dry out my hair and scalp. I have tried Baxter clay pomade. Liked it, would keep using it if it weren't for the price, but still thought I could find something better. Tried Imperial Classic Pomade but i honestly hate it. Smells like candy and goes in and looks like gel. Tried LS&B and it holds well but just too matte/dry looking for my taste. Shiner Psycho Hold Pomade is good, but still doesn't quite have the hold I am looking for. Then I tried this. Smells good. Goes in somewhat too easily but it dries within about a minute and then you get the good hold to achieve the desired look with, and once it is in it keeps a pretty good shine for the day. Not as much shine as a pomade, but close.
