At my age, with eyesight slowly declining, this sight helps me aim quickly and accurately still. I have one on 8 pistols of various brands. Even adding a "red dot" supports my eye finding the target day or night (thankfully only at the shooting range). But I had one on a now-traded pistol, even before these, and being younger, still found it useful. It draws one's eyes. Some prefer yellow to my orange, and a few seem to prefer the old green. Do research to pick the best one for YOU, and I doubt you'll be sorry. But some part numbers are taller than standard sights, so some sighting is usually necessary whether you use a suppressor or not. I had my armorer install mine, with one exception: I installed one on my Glock 48 personal defense gun. Not all brands of pistols are that easy. I really like mine.
