Overall I'm very, very happy with this item. It's rather heavy and made of high quality, polished, solid wood. Pretty detailing too. It is indeed smaller than several other decorative propellers available on Amazon (as other buyers have mentioned), so be sure to pay attention to the measurements because they are definitely accurate in the listing. The propeller came with a set of serious looking brackets (one requiring four holes in the wall to mount, the other requiring four holes in the propeller so the two metal pieces slide together securing it to the wall). To minimize the amount of holes necessary to drill to get this up, I chose to use a heavy duty sawtooth picture hanger instead, which required just two holes to be drilled in the propeller (reducing the chance to splitting the wood) and one hole for a heavy nail in the wall, hammered in at a downward angle). I can see why the company added the brackets in the box for extra security, but I've had no problems at all with this propeller in place in my living room with the hardware I selected instead. Great addition to my home!

It truly is an authentic product. I was going to return it, but once I placed it on my wall I decided it was perfect.
