Green up your yard without using the water.
Easy to use, but I took off the "nozzle" on the spray wand. This paint is thick and you will spend way to much time cleaning out your nozzle so just take it off. Order more than you think you'll need if you want it to blend in well. Super easy to mix. Very happy with the results. I used it in preparation to sell a house. It even fooled the home inspector! Make sure you have at least two days of dry weather (I did) but would have been disappointed if it had washed away. It warns you of that on the directions. It has since held up to a very hard rain storm and still looks great. Good value and easy to use. Have fun.

Keeps the HOA off my back and saves water.
My yard was completely AZ tan before I sprayed. Now it's a lush NW green. A must have in AZ when the grass dies off by mid July. This will last until the heat let's up again. No matter what I do even if I water 3 times a day it dies so I'll just save some water for a couple months and by October it will start growing through again. I used one bottle for this size lawn, went over it twice, I could have don't a bit of a better job but it'll pass. Neighbors love it too and wanted to know what I used, even sent a link to my landscaper when he asked, he said he was going to use it on his back yard lol. I suspect we'll all have the same color grass soon. I highly recommend for anyone who wants to reduce their water usage in the summer or avoid the HOA. Lol

Takes a little practice
After using too much weed killer for lawns, I ended up with patches of dead grass the color of straw. The dead spots were mostly devoid of grass and pulled focus.. i needed my grass to be green in time for a neighborhood special event and an influx of visitors. I researched several brands of grass paint and decided on this one. None seemed a clear choice based on reviews. I read and followed the directions. I watched videos on YouTube. I said prayers to not let me duck it up. As suggested, I used a battery powered sprayer to apply the product. A hand pump would be impractical. It takes a little practice to get it right. You will need to fine tune the sprayer to dispense the right amount of product. Yiull need to practice in order to find the best angle to hold sprayer nozzle, the correct distance from the grass and the correct amount of time making each pass. If the nozzle moves too slow, is too close or angled poorly too much paint will dispense and create an unnatural vivid green spot. It also takes practice to understand the best technique apllyimg to dead spots vs grass that’s just not green. Hot tips: Practice in the backyard first. More practice means getting a more natural appearance. More practice means more paint consumption. Consider buying an extra bottle. I was confident I could do it with one bottle only to order a second. Don’t apply if it’s dewy at night. Best applied when it’s sunny and 72 outside. Don’t apply if it’s breezy. Use cardboard strips weighted down w bricks or a drop cloth to protect from overspray. Don’t apply too much at once. Achieve desired shade of green with several lighter coats. Read and follow directions on bottle. They are helpful, true and accurate. Once the dead spots were green it looked very uneven and obviously artificial. It required more paint than expected to blend everything together. Wear vinyl gloves. Clean sprayer after use so it can be used again. I ended up with some overspray on myself and on parts of sidewalk & curb. I easily cleaned up with soap, water and a scrub brush. The overspray on cement cleaned up w a pass of the pressure washer, but not with soap and scrub brush. The overspray on the house came off with 409 and a scrub brush. Neighbors gave thumbs up and I received many compliments about how green and gorgeous my lawn looked. That was satisfying and made the effort worth it. The grass still looked good for about 4 weeks and thru several mowings. I may paint it again based on the positive feedback. I’ve pondered turning off the irrigation, letting it die and keeping it green with the paint.

Great stuff
Once you spray this paint on your dormant grass, you can turn off the sprinklers. The hoa will not harass you to water your lawn. You save on the water bill and still have a presentable lawn. Love this lawn paint.

It's a little messy so wear gloves and protect sidewalks, driveways etc.
Once you mix it to the color you want then apply it, it looks great!

Good in a Pinch
I bought this product as a last resort. About two weeks before a wedding shower which was to be held in my back yard I decided to feed the lawn to make it look good, well my spreader was apparently broken and was dropping a thin line of fertilizer straight down... The end result was a backyard which looked like a football feild because of strips of burned grass. With no time to spare I looked a bit online and bought this product. I received the product promptly and I was anxious to see if it would work. The bottom line is that it does do what it is intended to do, it paints (or dies I suppose) your lawn a relativley realistic color of green. Does it look real, no ofcourse not, especially not on close inspection, what grass looks good when its dead flat and painted green. But thats not the point, it worked because it did what I wanted it to do and it greatly minimized the noticeability of the dead grass lines, especially when standing level with the lawn (as opposed to looking down on it from a deck). I was able to make a little over 4 gallons of the lawn paint per the instructions, I wish I could have made more given the pretty steep price of over $20 (but I was in a pinch), unfortunately I only patched up about half my lawn so I decided to buy 2 more Envirocolors just to be on the safe side, and here is where things took a turn. I received my second batch promptly, but since I had gotten 2 this time I immediately noticed that one bottle was full to the brim and quite heavy, while the other was about half empty and much lighter. This really didnt make me to happy since I paid over $60 (with shipping) for two bottles of over glorified food die. So in conclusion, the product works, it's not a miracle worker but if your in a Pinch it will help, im giving this product 3 stars however for the half empty bottle I received. I have not yet tried to contact the company about this.

Dad approved. Pretty good results 👍
Its same viscosity as paint. Be careful where you mix it. Wash it right away if it gets on the concrete. Somebody here mentioned using a flattened box to be the perfect edger between the grass and concrete. Works like a charm. I uses a one gallon pump sprayer and 9 ounces of paint. Maintain high pressure on your sprayer at all times. You will cover much more ground. I did a side to side motion from the top till almost all the grass was green. It created a little more patchiness making the grass look green but dry, matching the summer weather. The paint is a little translucent so it will react with the color already there. The more you spray it the faker it looks in my opinion. I will transfer on your shoes so try not walking on it. It claims to be non toxic and is made in the USA. Two thumbs up 👍👍

My "lawn" is a victim of the Calfornia drought. We actually haven't really watered it in 2 years other than what it gets on rare occasion when we need to do a little to save the old trees, as recommended by a certified arborist. So of course all the grass has died and we have mostly weeds that sprout in the spring, and then die. We just mow it to typical grass height and move on with life but I admit it looked awful. On a whim, I decided to try an Alice in Wonderland painting the roses red strategy & painted this ugly dead weed carpet green. Does it look perfect? No, if you are up close in person it looks a little odd. From a distance however, this is a respectable looking product. It certainly is a cosmetic improvement from the "golden" dead weeds. Application was easy using a 1 galloon lawn and garden sprayer although for our space we had to refill it repeatedly. For the space in our photos, we were able to use the 32 ounce concentrate for the entire space with a little remaining using the 6oz to a gallon mixture. We didn't want to go really dark, we're in a drought after all if ours was dark green it'd look unrealistic! ;) We were able to do the entire space in less than 2 hours, we used the box amazon shipped in to protect areas we didn't want green (like the sidewalk). We used a careful backout plan to prevent any tracking of the lawn paint onto spaces where it didn't belong. This is a fabulously easy DIY project to help your curb appeal. I suspect if you had actual lawn that was suffering, it'd look better than it does on our epic levels of dead matted weeds, but still, not too shabby. *UPDATE* Year 2 of painting the lawn. It lasted the ENTIRE summer and part way through winter on one paintjob, it looked pretty good until Spring came, and new things grew and died, we do reseed in early spring, so we do get a burst of fresh grass and fresh weeds too, of course. Let me tell you though, that we do not walk on it nor water once it's painted. It did occasionally take water and hold up fine, but I don't know how it'd hold up to trying to keep the lawn alive, if you were regularly walking on it or mowing. Here is an "in progress" paintjob picture- see how dead it is, and how good it looks by comparison!
