As far as whether to use a conventional or synthetic - that depends on the driver, the conditions and the type of driving that you do. Both conventional and synthetic oils will protect your engine – synthetic oils provide superior protection to conventional oils. Synthetics also provide much better protection at extreme temperatures and severe driving conditions. Some automobiles do require synthetic oils – this would also be mentioned in the owner’s manual. Didn't leak out, but did last time and they didn't learn the lesson

The oil is excellent for a great price. Castrol is continuously a leader in good oil and this product holds the line perfectly. The only thing I'd change is the person packaging these oils; this most recent order didnt leak, but the last one did and I had to wait for replacements to be shipped. This time, same packaging style so they didn't learn. Really putting the lids and seals to the test here on someone elses time and dime. Really bad way to do business. See the photo, both lids in different directions and no label on the case to indicate which way is up. Just a dumb way to ship a great product and will eventually lead to people walking away from castrol because their products dont arrive sealed and complete or arrive at all. Super simple fix.
