These are great for ski boots, but do not fit in normal shoes easily. I bought them for wet soccer creates but they are not right for this purpose

I went through two sets of portable electric boot-dryers and they both broke within 30 hours of use. This is a great, reliable, low tech option. I put them on the electric radiator to dry them out after use. Worked great! Super low maintanence.

While these do their job and collect the moisture they also have mold spots all over them after the first use. Not impressed with that part at all. Used over night once and mild spots?!

Made my smelly climbing and work shoes don't smell absolutely rancid. Will recommend to anyone.
