Can this tape be used for wrapping insulation tape and heat tape on pipes?

Don't see why not. It's subjected to temperature changes and weather on my mini split installation and it's holding up quite well.

Will this work on my roof in direct sunlight? i live in az with temps over 100+, i don't want the adhesive to boil and go thin.

The tape is UV resistant as well as weather resistant. Should be fine.
