I am writing this as a caution to potential buyers. I tried this device on the shower hose. I turned the water temperature right down to very cool, and then tried to get the right pressure using the control on the douche. The water pressure on the open setting sent a jet about 12 inches into the air. I adjusted the setting so that the stream was more gentle for such a delicate area. When I was happy with the temperature and pressure I was just about to use the douche, when the shower pressure release device blew and sent scalding steam everywhere. That could have caused serious internal burns had I been using it. This douche, with its pressure adjuster, is potentially very dangerous. Please avoid.
