Extra power connector for SSD
Allowed me to add another power source for a second hard drive as the computer only had one available.

Fix cable problems inexpensively
This rescued an old Windows 7 machine in which the cable for one of the drives had somehow been damaged. Now the machine is running flawlessly. I was grateful to have taken the steps to create a backup a couple of months ago so I was able to restore the system and get it running. This Y adapter filled the bill.
