It looked used
I was so embarrassed when my dad opened this for Christmas. The corners were banged up, paint chipped, and it had a red mark on it. It looked like it had been set up in a restaurant kitchen and boxed up to sell like it was new. Very unhappy.

Works great!
We have a small bakery and inventing gluten free cones was a big deal! This cone maker worked beautifully! It did take some experimenting and practice on batter thickness, rolling technique,etc., but that was on me. Really glad I bought this!

Not quality, but did arrive on time
You can tell it’s not made in the states.. The owners manual, well it makes zero sense. Literally, you have to piece things together to make it make sense. The lid on the machine feels broken. When closing it closes to the left side which makes things wonky.

Overall happy but uneven cooking may occur.
Overall, it functions well. I noticed that if the hinge side is closed quickly, it compresses the cone material, causing that part of the cone to become thinner and cook more, which can result in overcooking. To prevent this issue, you can hold the hinge with a spatula and lower it evenly. This overcoomed issue is visible in the attached photo.
