Great 3M mask, over the head so it doesn't get loose and fits tight to the face. However, it is hard to put on the first time as you must tighten the nose clip. Stores flat until you put it on. Good balance of security and comfort when you need it most in this never-ending pandemic. Hard to take on/off, best when you need to put on for a few hours without eating or sipping water (think flights, trains). It is not super comfortable, but if you wanted comfort you wouldn't be looking at N95s. This is the mask I wear when I am in hospitals or the New York subway. Pricy but worth it in high-risk situations, although I would use other masks (like the Drager N95) for shopping or meeting strangers.

Third order - I like them! Masks come tri-folded and individually sealed in a plastic wrap - No box or bulk, easy to store or carry a spare. Instructions printed on the wrapper. These use two elastic straps around the head (not the ears), making them fit better and remain stable (they might muss up your hair a bit). Both the nose bridge wire and foam seal are wider and thicker, allowing a better custom fit around my nose. These straps last much longer than 3M's 9205 - huge Improvement. Note: a NEWBIE user might forget to UNFOLD them completely once or twice, so if they seem small or loose, check it. Everybody does it once. Very comfortable, might feel a bit warm if you are wearing them for a longer time. Small price to pay for good protection.

Back when millions of packages of face masks were being given away to people walking through the doors of chain store retailers, I got 6 of these 3M masks. They're a tight fit on my largish face. In a sense that was initially off-putting. However, I think that the fit being snug around my cheeks, nose and chin is a feature that makes these as safe as N95 masks should be to protect from viruses so I looked for them by specific model number when buying from a trusted source. I wanted the real thing for certain and not to trust a random Chinese brand of an alternative. Simple choice and reasonable price.

The only reason I give this mask 4 and not 5 stars is because it has a strong chemical smell when you take it out of the package. Otherwise, it is the most comfortable, well-fitting mask I have found. The foam around the nose is great and I have worn it all day during plane travel and it leaves no marks on my face. The cloth elastic is also comfortable with my long hair. If I am traveling I take a new one out of the plastic package and let it sit out all night. That helps reduce the smell.

Due to comorbidity issues, when Covid hit, I did some extensive research on N95 masks, and I'm convinced that you can't get a better one than this one. It has a foam pad beneath the metal nose strip, which makes for a perfect seal around the nose area. And, it has a chin fold that can be pulled down well below the chin, causing it to seal around the entire face. Even when I needed workers at my place to wear them, no matter how their faces were shaped, these sealed! There is another version/part number of this. The only difference is in the material used for the straps. The other model uses the 'rubber band' type material, which breaks easily and also breaks down from sun exposure in you hang your mask from the rear view mirror. But, this model uses elastic material for the straps, and it lasts far, far longer! I get at least 3 months use out of every one. If you take care of them, you will, too! They're absolutely the only mask I'll buy, or wear!

love this mask....I have glasses and hearing aids so this mask is works better than those that go over the ears. I wish I could buy the case...way cheaper but 240 masks is too much. I used to be able to share with others but now days people don't wear mask. More people getting sick and everyone accepts it like flu or cold but I don't want to get sick not even for a few days. Got to much to do.

The fit is excellent and very comfortable. They pass the puff test perfectly. They are snug without leakage. The masks come in individual waterproof airtight packets. They can easily be folded flat. They are very easy to breath through. In the past the full NIOSH approval number was not printed on the mask and the elastic strings were around the ear. Both problems were corrected in the batch I bought and the masks now conform to those NIOSH standards for approval as N95 masks.

Terrible fit.

I am very happy with this product, it is very easy to breathe and fits very well, I like the strong elastic they have used.

Original 3M masks and very comfortable to wear for long hours for doctors including people who wear spectacles- no fogging. Price is on higher side.
