There are several reviews commenting on the poor quality of these utensils
There are several reviews commenting on the poor quality of these utensils. I’m not sure what is expected of a stainless steel fork, spoon, and knife that costs 50 cents each (on average if you buy all three sets of 36 each). Really heavy duty plastic cutlery can cost around 14 cents and gets tossed after it is used. These utensils are perfect for our kitchen at work. They are medium gauge stainless and do not bend easily at all. We have run them through the dishwasher numerous times and they do not rust or corrode. No, they are not polished and are clearly machine stamped with limited finishing. While I would not use them at home for a dinner party, they are a perfect permanent replacement for any occasion where you would use plastic cutlery and don’t mind gathering them up and washing them. After three uses, you will come out ahead economically, and they are superior in strength and durability to any plastic utensil made. I’m rating them 5 stars on a relative basis to plastic cutlery. Do not buy them and expect to get something that looks like an Oneida stainless steel flatware set costing four times as much.

Beats Plastic
They are about as cheap as you can get for real silver. Not great quality but MUCH better than plastic, and we can use them again for the next party.

Good for a party if you are done with plastic silverware
Probably not great for every day use, but for use at a party they are good. They are not heavy and they are stamped but the edges won't cut you and they work fine. Much better than plastic and we can re-use instead of filling up landfills. Only used once so far.

More than adequate
I bought these for the employee break room at my office. They are very sturdy, they have a pleasant appearance and they have the edge you would expect of a butter/table knife.

Meh
These are great for the office. Cheaper than buying plastic flatware over and over again. They don't really do a great job of cutting though. They're fine for buttering toast or cutting a piece of lettuce. When it comes to meat, they're ineffective.

nothing fancy
Will do anything a high-priced knife will. But you won't find these in Buckingham palace. Good value and don't care if you lose one or two.

good deal
Just like you find at a restaurant. They aren't going to bend putting peanut butter on toast but if you lose them eh big deal.
