If you enjoy comedy at all, then you should experience the silent films of Buster Keaton. I don't think you can find a better use for your money than purchasing this set. I've worked my way through Charles Chaplin and Harold Lloyd (both contemporaries of Keaton and equivalently great actors/directors). I had only seen one of Keaton's movies (Seven Chances) and decided to take the plunge on this set, and I do not regret it for a moment. Naturally you can purchase all of the works separately, but I can't imagine watching one film and then deciding not to watch any others.
