## Customer Reviews

### ⭐⭐ WAY too dim for practical use
*by A***N on May 12, 2007*

This is a cute and very compact projector, but I think it is mostly a gimmick. It is so dim that the picture is unacceptable everywhere but in a VERY dark room within 4 feet of a highly reflective screen. If you know you'll always be in the dark, and within 4 feet of the screen, and you really need this degree of portability, then this is the projector for you. Otherwise, don't bother, or you'll just end up returning it like I did.

### ⭐⭐⭐ Only Useable in a Dark Room
*by H***O on September 12, 2012*

The PK10 is a great pocket projector, but don't even bother trying to use it in a room with any source of light. For best results, the room should be pitch black.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pretty nice, with a few limitations
*by P*** on March 28, 2007*

As you are told a number of times in the reviews, it isn't the brightest bulb in the box, but that's why it is so small and useful, if you keep that in mind for its uses. With the LED bulb for light, there is no warm up or cool down and you get a tiny box and no bulb replacement to worry about.I don't think the room needs to be completely dark at all, just not full sunlight. If you have shades on your windows and it is daylight, you will need to close them, but if you are using it at work for example, and can darken your area, you can easily view the picture and take notes at the same time; it can be that light in the room. That's it...not dark.I haven't tested the limit on the picture size, but it is now playing on my wall while I type this on my computer. Sure, it has limitations, but it works great within those limitations. I got a free battery with mine, so it was a great deal. The controls are very nice, all you would expect on a TV, not just a projector. The anamorphic picture is very nice, too. I have seen some TV's handle that very badly as to make it unusable, but I think it is nicely done on the Mitsubishi.Remember too, that with the short throw lens, you can have the projector very close to a wall or screen for a small picture, which may be a plus for your use. Don't buy it if you want a huge screen and want to watch in bright light; it won't work for that. If you keep the size in mind, and have a semi-darkened room, it's very cool. I'm glad I bought it.I think I will have the neighborhood over for movies on my garage door this summer. At one pound, or so, and with a mini DVD player or tuner, it beats hauling a TV outside for enjoying the nighttime.
