Best cooler for your device!
I got my new laptop (HP Spectre x360 15.4") for college and it works great for my everyday tasks and productivity, however it runs hot for when I am gaming and they're not AAA games either just smaller games such as Plague Inc Evolved, Age of Civilizations II, EU4, RimWorld, etc. Keep in mind the specific model I got has 16 GB of RAM and an i7 Intel processor as well as the MX150 NVIDIA graphics card, I was a tad bit surprised to see the laptop running pretty hot and I knew that it wasn't good for the laptop. Now, I was trying to think of something to address airflow because I figured that would greatly help with temperature and thus performance as well. So I was browsing Google trying to look for a solution and my search eventually led me here on Amazon looking for laptop coolers. Like many others I looked and compared between products, reading the descriptions and the reviews, the good and the bad, eventually I was left with this KLIM cooler and 2 others, I decided to choose this one based on the overall reviews and benefits. First off, I love this product, period, it solved all of my problems with my laptop running hot and the product does as advertised, second it has a lot of features like purchasing certain fan colors (loving the green), having 2 USB ports so you don't lose a port using this product, the latches you can use to raise your laptop to a higher angle and for better airflow as well as 2 more on the top front to prevent the laptop from sliding off, and smaller things such as sturdiness, quality, etc. The only minor thing that I could think of is the noise, I personally don't mind, running the fans on the lowest level doesn't produce much noise, at the highest level it is not too much either but it still is there, keep in mind it won't be silent, but I'd imagine running this cooler at the highest level is better than having the device running like a vacuum. TL;DR - This is an amazing product, it is effective, feature-rich, has cool light-up fans, and overall creates a net loss in noise when used fully, rather than the laptop alone. I would definitely recommend, especially if the fans line up with your device air intake, like it does with my laptop, if you are doing extensive work, gaming, or you simply want your device to be cooler and last longer.

Wonderful all around
I received the product and I had been using it for about an hour and one of the fans started to make a clicking sound, other than that it worked beautifully. I contacted the seller and they are very helpful and kind. Highly recommend this product and this company. It keeps my laptop from becoming burning hot as it used to and it’s very nicely made. 5 stars because I am satisfied with the product and impressed by the customer service.

JUST fits my 18.1" Alienware!
-this item is a HUGE help! I run 3D design software programs and this has made a HUGE difference! I had already bought flip out legs for my device (you would think the makers of gaming laptops would design the bottoms better- but it probably because they want you to HAVE to buy another! While I have a raised hollow base on the bottom of the laptop, it still does not have anywhere for the hot air to escape) While the legs propping it up is a big help, it still feels like a mini heater when I am running the software for hours at a time. I use a laptop stand, so it is not on my lap. Finding a cooler that was reasonably priced AND fit my laptop has been insane! This item is not an exact fit, per se, BUT it gets the job done! I have about 1/4" overhang on each side, past the widest areas of the cooler (top and bottom corners). I cannot use the flip up guards on the unit, as I am already hanging over the back of the unit by 2 1/2-3 inches. My desk has adjustable tilt and i keep it adjusted for typing purposes. I have the unit legs extended, and use the legs I added to my laptop to keep it on top of the device (in case it were to try and slide). Quality: Definitley feels flimsier than I expected, but I also didn't pay $60 for this- so that is probably to be expected. Lights: Fan lights are not as bright as the all the advertising images (of ALL the coolers that light up) would seem. My lap top totally cover the unit, so it is even more subdued. Noise: While not silent, I feel it is pretty quiet (not that I have used one of these before). My laptop makes more noise than this when I run my 3D software! What I don't like: location of fan switches and USB ports are in an awkward position. Unless your device is SMALLER than this unit (which is probably 15" laptop or below) it is very difficult to reach and turn fans on and off, as the controls are located in the center middle. The front guards seem really flimsy if they are needed. I feel like they could make the legs adjustable too. Other than that is lightweight and doing the job I need it to! Very little heat emanating from the sides of my device!

good deal for a sturdy af laptop pad
(Please ignore my mess of a basement in pics) Will update later down the road, but for the moment I am more than satisfied! The short of it: great for the price. I've only used the Notepal X3 for the past few years, and this is just as cool as the Notepal's single fan, and obvs more dispersed with four fans. Can't turn the lights off, but they're about as bright as my keyboard backlights. Very nice cool white. There's a USB port on the back so you're not out a plug, and two dials for the top and bottom set of fans. The pegs to hold your laptop in place are kinda sharp, as others have mentioned, but the material of the fan and the rubber footies on the bottom of my laptop keep it in place, so I'm not worried about it sliding if I don't use them. Running nothing but Discord and YouTube, all four cores are averaging about 30-32° C. Comfortable for your lap or a lap desk, and laying it flat doesn't jostle or rattle the fans. Only packaged in a box and a single sleeve of bubble wrap, but I haven't seen anyone else having issues about returning it, and the seller seems amicable enough to reach out with problems. The long if it: I'm going to be comparing it to my Notepal X3 A LOT but it holds up fairly well right out of the box. For nothing else, it kicks the Notepal out of the field in quality. I'd be very shocked if this ever broke on me. Both of my new Notepals' had wiggly, loose power ports, and the plastic always felt it was one wrong drop away from cracking. The Klim is far sturdier (at first glance I thought the frame was metal, it's definitely hard enough), and while I'm not one for throwing things, I at least have a bit more faith that it wouldn't bust if I were to drop it or something. If you're debating this vs. others because of the price, double check the other colors available, cuz I got mine 50% off because they were overstocked 👌👌👌 I play FFXIV on an Acer Aspire, which tends to (as expected of all MMOs with graphics not total poop on a laptop not necessarily built for hours and hours of gaming) make the laptop warm. Not to the point I can't touch it, but enough that I worry about it not being elevated or having air flow or anything like that, or playing XIV for more than an hour without a break. I've been through three (one handmedown, two new) Notepals in the past 4-5 years, so I figured I'd take a chance with this one since the reviews were more positive. The fans on max are like a box fan on medium; it's on, not whisper quiet, you can hear it spinning, but it's not roaring. The output of air thus far is decent too. Both elevated with its legs and flat on my lapdesk, the cores are averaging out about 30-32°C. XIV running in the background got it to about ~58°, and tabbed in got me between 64-68. I don't have my numbers from my Notepal, but surface temp is pretty similar. I also like that since my Acer is 15.6" there's a bit of room for the air to blow on me, similar to the vent on my old Notepal. That said, I could definitely see laptops on the 16-17" range having overhang issues. But, again, the rubber feet and the pad's grating hold pretty dang solidly, so even then I'd trust it to hold a bigger laptop. One of the things I did check was the fan to chassis contact, as my Notepal would groan, skid, and rattle if I had to pick it up to adjust it or my laptop. Right off the bat, I didn't have that issue with the Klim. I took my laptop off my lap desk and set it on my lap; at no point did the fans scream from contact, like my Notepal would have, and it was actually very comfortable to have it there. I wouldn't put the the legs up, they're practically stilettoes, but it'd be nothing to get into a comfortable position with or without my little lap desk. If anything, I AM dappointed in Amazon for not putting it in an Amazon box (what's the point of asking at checkout) and that it was just left on my stoop in the middle of a rainstorm. But there was no damage to the fan itself that I could see, just some bumps on the box... I do worry for future customers that only a sleeve of bubble wrap is the only thing inside the box padding the product.

Great product - works well especially for gaming laptops
Highly recommend this product for a few reasons - in comparison to other models I have tried. I have a gaming laptop which I use to run AI software - which is very taxing and when AI software is active my gaming laptop kicks on the fans to super high speed for very long periods. I hooked up a fan on the back of my laptop to help, but it was noisy and having a fan on in winter months blowing air around is not enjoyable. In the past I used these cooling pads but they were lousy. I saw this one had slide stops at the bottom of it, which right there I was immediately sold as others I used in the past didn't have that and my laptop would slide off all the time. The fans are large and move a good amount of air and the fans are quiet. My laptop fans do not kick on super high speed anymore when running the AI software. Also, the back feet give great height since I keep my laptop to the side of my main monitor (basically dual monitor setup, but 2nd monitor is the laptop) and this device allows adjustment to lift my laptop up to make viewing easier. Highly recommend this product - great design! I will say the colors do not matter, so just buy whatever color is cheapest as your laptop sits on-top and you never see the fan colors.

10/10 Laptop cooling pad
This cooling pad keeps my gaming laptop nice and cool. I just got done with a 2hr gaming session on Battlefield 6 on high setting and checked my laptop temp and it was at 26°C/78°F, that is impressive. It is quiet and powerful with 2 zone adjustable fan speeds. 2 fans per zone. It is high quality materials, very sturdy plastic construction, and metal cover over fans for optimal cooling. It does have blue lights when running but they are not to bright, just enough so you are aware the fans are on. I love the adjustable feet with rubber grips so the pad does not move easily and the 2 tabs that flip up on the front of the cooling pad to keep your laptop in place.

Just outstanding
So I recently purchased a new legion pro five laptop. While this laptop doesn’t get super hot, it definitely gets warm and to definitely stand a little bit of airflow around it if you want to keep it at optimum temperature. I read some of the positive and negative reviews on this unit and tried it out for myself. As far as airflow and sound level goes, it works good it is independent controls on the back with a total of four fans each switch controls two of the fans one switch controls the two on the left the other the two on the right, turn it all the way one way you feel an audible click that powers them down or you turn them all the way the other direction, and they are at full power. Even at full power. These are very loud. Yes you can hear them but if you’re doing anything else at all even typing on the keyboard you can’t hear them anymore. While they are not very loud, they do move a fair amount of air and with my laptop sitting on top of it it keeps it much much cooler The lighting on this unit is not overly bright. However, I’m not worried about the lights that much as once the laptop is sitting on top of it you can’t really see them in a completely dark room. It does give a slight ambience from below, but with even a monitor on You can’t really see them anymore. So if you’re worried about the lights being to Brat, don’t worry you’re not going to notice them. The USB cable has a nice links. It doesn’t seem to draw very much power. I think this is a great bang for the buck. It works well with my Lenovo legion however, it might not work as well with some laptops as it all depends on how your air flow is designed around your computer, but I would definitely recommend

Always check reviews
Con - The biggest issue I had with this product is that the little pegs to keep your computer from falling off stick out so far that they dig into your wrists when you actually use the computer for gaming or typing. So the incline feature is honestly useless if you want to actually use your computer for more than just searching things. You can attempt to put them down slightly so they don't dig in but if your computer slips down it'll just shut the pegs all together and they become useless yet again. For gaming if you're only using your left hand for keys then you can put the right peg up to keep it stable. Second, the fan is louder than my computer fan. Granted there were louder ones I've had but not 'silent' as it advertises. Pro - It does the job and I do like the fact you can turn off the top fans or the bottom fans and adjust speed. That is a big thumbs up from me. It does actually keep my computer a good 4 degrees cooler when gaming.
